i knew youse guys would get on me, but...lol~!
It’s good to start. It gets better and better. This season has been the best of the series. It’s going out at it’s highest point.
Enjoy!
Yeah science!
Jeez, Heisenberg’s name isn’t being dragged thru the mud.
Are you certain? [/jk]
I'm not so sure.. The article stated TONIGHT plus when I checked my TV menu for AMC for 8 tonight, it said "To Be Announced."
Sneak Preview?
They said Wednesday night on AMC,I wrote it down, but of course that could have changed.
.
No doubt S5 has been outstanding. I stopped watching much in S2 due to the side trip in magical realism. Started watching again in S4. The Fring death scene is one for the ages.
We’re gonna have a whole lotta bodies on our hands Sunday night. Kinda thinking it would work best as a 2-hour finale. 90 mins at least.
Someone needs to write a boot: Todd Alquist’s Guide To Women.
“Its not personal”
“I just think we work together good. We make a good team. It’s kind of mutually good.”
LOL!
I didn’t tune in until late but have been able to pick up some of the back hours via re-runs.
The show had some real quirky dark humor in the early years, but as it went on, the show got darker and darker in tone.
I’ve never seen anything quite like it on regular non-premium TV
TCM is where I watch old movies. I gave up on AMC when they started adding commercials.
Let me summarize half of the posts for those who do not wish to read this entire thread:
“I have never watched this show.”
“Its about drugs, who would waste their time.”
“I dropped cable and don’t watch TV”
“Its full of commericals, I won’t watch it.”
“Its a left wing conspirace.”
“It is based in New Mexico, it contains no ‘American Values.”
“I wish it was 1950 again.”
Did I get them all?

The Moral Chaos of Breaking Bad
Viewers root for Walt even at his most odious, because their memory of the put-upon underdog lingers.

“I liked Brian Cranston better when he was the dad on ‘Malcolm in the Middle’”.
I liked it better when it was called "The Godfather."
That story outline and theme has deep resonances in western culture. It’s why The Godfather and stories like this are so enduring (Citizen Kane is very similar as well).
It's depressing that this very successful show is about sad and desperate people.
