Reuters Jeff Mason and Mark Felsenthal report: John Boehner, Republican speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, said on Tuesday he would support President Barack Obama's call for military action in Syria and urged his colleagues in Congress to do the same. Speaking to reporters after a meeting with Obama at the White House, Boehner said the United States had to respond to the use of chemical weapons in Syria and show allies that America would stand up when necessary.
Welcome.
“I have not yet determined whether it was a lobotomy or a castration.”
And there is your problem! Stop being an “either/or” type and become a “this and that” type.
Good grief, Boehner.
Here we go! Libya, Act II...and worse
Does anyone believe Obama will stop at a “short, limited strike, lasting a few days” -— just bomb a few command and control centers and some airfields?
Are the “moderates” going to turn over their chemical weapons? Is Russia just going to hand over its Syria base?
and... the rebel “Moderates”
From Cantor: “That is why it is imperative that the Administration continue to identify and support those moderate elements who are battling both Assad and Al Qaeda.”
“these moderate elements” -— That is the same lie McCain has been pushing for weeks
I have a problem helping those people screaming that after a hit, Kilmeade said. McCain responded: Would you have a problem with an American or Christians saying thank God? Thank God? He added, Thats what theyre saying. Come on! Of course theyre Muslims, but theyre moderates and I guarantee you they are moderates.
McCain provided no evidence to suggest that Syrian opposition groups are moderate, as opposed to the wide swath of evidence suggesting that the opposition is heavily infested with al Qaeda.

Al Qaeda has won the war on terror. The president and congress are now on Al Qaeda’s side.
It always is my FRiend, it always is.
Reuters reports that Senator Carl Levin, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Armed Services, told the White House he favors providing arms such as anti-tank weapons to the Syrian rebels. After meeting Obama earlier today, Levin said that the U.S. will make its support for the Syrian opposition “more robust.”

It’s effed-up that we are now a client state of the Saudi Arabian Empire, though.
Republicans always have been the “War Party.” Why did anyone think that would change?
How much money does it take to sell your country down the river? How many vacations? Plane rides, tee times, cocktail parties?
These government elite make street walkers look like honest citizens.
We has been sniveling cowards giving up more and more ever since.
Indeed. This is all about control of natural resources and standard of currency.
I’m SO shocked!....NOT!! What a moron! Where is OUR representation in the government? Does obama have dirt on him or something? Must have!
I agree with everything in your comments. But, don’t be so sure the dems are safe on this one. I agree that they vote like sheep but, the poll numbers reflect they are not behind this attack on Syria.
I think it is finally occurring to people that Washington doesn’t give a flip about them or what they think. It started with the IRS, Benghazi, NSA and it has culminated in Syria.
In other words, Washington is now being seen as the real enemy. They controlled us with fear and now they are attacking us and jeopardizing our very lives.
90% plus of the American people are against this action despite ALL the BS propaganda. That's saying something.
Agreed! They won when Congress passed the anti-Patriot Act.
Well, there IS *some* good news that comes out of this, if Russia and China hold their fire and don’t respond to our WWIII provocation:
Now that we are fully a client, satellite-state of the Saudi Arabian Empire, they are likely to spend some of their trillions floating our impossible economy by buying our worthless bonds.
That means we get a few more years before we become a full-on, Max-Max third world shithole.
Me, I’m stocking up and planning a way out.
If Congress does not vote to support a military action in Syria, the French are out.
********
Nothing is weaker than French conviction.
Again, the Reps are being divided by Obama. This will depress turnout in 2014 and the Dems will regain control of the House. Immigration and now Syria. The Reps are being played for fools. We need an opposition party to replace the Reps.
