True story. A former coworker (black), who had lived in the DC area, told me that Ghana had a cottage industry of boarding and educating American students from middle school through high school.

Most of the schools were Catholic run, some were Protestant. The American kids were educated with the elites and upper middle class kids from Ghana and, sometime, neighboring countries.

They were actually taught something, did service to the local communities and came home with an appreciation of how their American educated peers were p*ss*ng away opportunities. Most of them came home to eschew joining the gangsta culture and went on to real colleges or trade schools.

The tab for boarding, tuition and airfare came to about $2500 for the year . . . one hell of a bargain when you consider DC area publik skoolz are p*ss*ng away just short of ten times that amount per student for achieving abysmal results.

I think most African-Africans on average are more productive than US African-Americans. there are exceptions to this (like Thomas Sowell etc), but those are not African-Americans — they call themselves just plain Americans
