Today, July 12th, is DAY #24 (of 5th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Yesterday the prosecution provide closing arguments (Summary: http://legalinsurrection.com/2013/07/states-closing-argument-two-hours-of-raising-doubt).
Today the defense attorney, Mark O’Mara will present his closing argument. Then the prosecution rebuttal.

If he is found not guilty of murder because of self defense then he can't be found guilty of manslaughter. The only way they can find him guilty of manslaughter is if they find him not guilty of murder due to lack of intent or some other reason. If self defense is the reason he fired then he can't be guilty of either charge.

It's not astounding. We just are listening to different sources of information. We here at FR are actually watching the case. They are listening to media people saying Zimmerman is guilty.

I agree with you. I was getting very worried about a week ago. .particularly because I live about 10 minutes from the courthouse. It’s been tense ..nut doesn’t have that ugly feeling.
There may be some acting out- regardless of verdict but I’m less fearful.
Now THAT is one “creepy-ass cracker”! lol
Florida law prevents the filing of wrongful death if the verdict is not guilty(this is how it should be in every state)and the feds can't file civil rights charges because Zimmerman is not a LEO, only a government official can deprive a person of their civil rights.

Disagree. There WILL be some riots, but more than that there will be ongoing small group and individual attacks by blacks on whites. Even more than there usually is. I guarantee it.
Travons threaten blacks more than whites threaten blacks.
Blacks are more victimized by blacks than anyone other than democrats.
In their hearts the great majority of blacks, the decent people we don’t hear from, know this.
