Today, July 1st, is DAY #16 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Last week the prosecution feebly presented the first series of witnesses against George Zimmerman. However, as most observers would note, the witnesses called by the state have so far been more beneficial for the Zimmerman Self-Defense position.

You could tell by his voice on the 911 tape that he was stressed...that doesn’t equate to being so afraid that you can’t act.
What exactly is your point because I’m not getting it?
He hasn’t disappointed me yet.
External concerns.
There it is.
you are getting silly...why Z left the car was answered 5 times just today and don’t post back.....I do not suffer hardheads
That is a delicious point!
Yep, old DeeDee was a ‘staaaar’ :)
A workman-like lawyering job, correct?
No matter what is presented on the other side, O’Mara is supposed to take it and make it work for the defense.
If it already works for the defense but could be improved, or if there are questions that a juror might be asking themselves about the presentation etc, it’s his job to get the best he can for his client, on cross.
The fact that he does that routinely no matter what is presented, shows not necessarily that something has made his client look guilty but it shows he must put on the best possible defense presentation at all times.
The details he addresses will vary throughout this trial, but the general picture that impresses me is that the State has no case, nothing, that shows Zimmerman is guilty of any crime much less 2nd degree murder.
Sure ya do. Unless you're a gutless wonder. It's called overcoming and conquering your fear. Especially if it is for the greater good (ie preventing or helping to prevent more burglaries as the neighborhood watch).
During that interrogation Zimmerman says he is in fear while still in the car.
The Detective talks about him getting OUT of the car and mentions the word fear and that it wasn’t fear when he got out of the car.
You don’t get out of the car if you are in fear
If I am in the jury box I am going to wonder about that.
.
These interviews are to provoke particular verbal responses...They are almost like trying to create a fairy tale out of the truth...I call it gap questioning...because it ignores the strict sequence of events.
I believe you meant this post for Rummychick.
Good points.
*You* don’t get out of the car.
People are afraid yet act every single day.
When he got out of his car, the kid was not in sight...
You didnt hear the testimony and are harping on the fact MoM is doing cross as some proof the tape was damaging. So what was GZ answer to the question why did you get out of your car if you were in fear?
Oh thats right you don’t know you having listen to the entire testimony in context just random tweets and these paid morons on TV who are bias as hell.
You’re embarrassing yourself a little going so hard in defending some tweets and talking heads.
I wouldn’t buy it if I was a jury member - or at least I would question it and take everything else into consideration. You know the cops are on the way. YOu are in fear for your life.
You don’t get out of the car .
Martin could have had a gun and shot him.
“Why, at every conference at the bench, does the prosecution need at least two attorneys while the defense just has one???”
Probably to make it fair...because their two combined IQ scores is equal to one of the defense attorney’s?
he got out of the car to see where he was going
Was he in fear for his life when he got out of the car, or when he got jumped?
Who used the word fear first....The detective or GZ?
