Secretary of State John Kerry welcomed the opening of Arms Trade Treaty for signature today.
The Obama administration plans on signing the treaty as soon as the process of conforming the official translations is completed satisfactorily.
The United Nations passed sweeping legislation in April that will regulate the international arms trade and could lead to a national gun registry in the United States.
No wonder Democrats love it!
Theres more
In March the pro-Second Amendment Senate Bill 139 passed 53-46. 46 Democratic Senators voted against the bill which would: Uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.

Even if ratified, the notion that a treaty overrides the Constitution is just plain untrue. It's been done for over seventy years, Reid v. Covert notwithstanding.

Budda's signature was meaningless. Is THAT why the EPA went on to regulate carbon emissions without authorization! Who knew?

2A is unaffected by a treaty. Your statement is true, right up to the point of willingness to use force to keep it that way.

Since when has the law stopped this tyrant? He has utter contempt for the law if it gets in his way. Executive orders or out right ATF enforcement through policy changes. The tyrant king and his pack of henchman will turn far more nasty and brutal before this is over.

0bama is hardly incented to sign treaty that would outlaw arming his jihadi buddies in Syria.

I don't know how many SEAL teams there are, but they are now needed to take action against the treasonous insurgents in our gov't. The country our brave servicemen have fought and died for is being turned on it's head.
Did these men die so we could be stripped of our God-given rights? HELL NO.
To: Carry_Okie
You have an example.
The Constitution says that the Constitution and treaties are the supreme law. Which by logic says that the Constitution outranks a treaty. Otherwise the President and 2/3 of the Senate could amend the Constitution without involving the House or States.

DOA in House. Good point. Plus... it can be adjudicated.

The Navy SEALs are a small part of the Special Operations community. There are far more Army Green Berets, Force Recon Marines, Army Rangers, Air Force Pararescue and others.

No doubt that a national registry would save lives. Don’t take this as a government takeover of a free nation, THAT is just VRWC talk! It’s been proved time and time again that government confiscation of human freedoms saves lives and if just one life can be saved...
