This is my State Senator and he was my State Representative before that. He is constantly labeled as ‘extreme’ and ‘ultra-conservative’, but somehow keeps getting re-elected. Of course, there are a lot of ‘extreme, ultra-conservative’ folks in his district. He has also introduced a bill that ties welfare payments to kids’ grades, has introduced a bill preventing teachers from teaching about homosexuality (labeled the ‘Don’t say gay’ bill), and other such legislation. They don’t get out of committee, primarily because then people would have to go on record regarding them, but he keeps introducing them. Go, Stacey, go.
