Why should the Norks bother? Obama is doing a better job.
But you can't "hit a bullet with a bullet."
- Democrat platform for the last 25 years.
One has to wonder why the USA is acting on reactive actions. This should of be done long ago on preventative if not predictive actions. Shame on Obama!!
The Chinese and Russians could also do this.

If anyone thinks the Kenyan is capable of managing the defense of this nation, even against an opponent as puny as NOKO, you’re in for a sad awakening.
Destroyed by communism from within or without? Potato, potahto...
All that chink in NK has to do is let Barry Hussein Soetoro ruin the United States and not one missile needs to be fired.
My only concern has always been in the case of an emp attack or an internal conflict (like CW2) we would be vulnerable to outside invasion or more overt infiltrations and exteernal interfernce. A giant reset button would be a good thing and rid us of all the stupid tv/radio propaganda and shows, video games our people have gotten hooked on as long as it happens on a global scale.
Not to worry. Our sock-puppet resident of our White House has a full complement of unelected and unapproved puppeteers to guide our leader as he golfs around the country.

“National Security: The administration moves an advanced missile defense system to Guam because it knows a single low-yield nuke detonated at high altitude could send America back in time a hundred years.”
I don’t buy this at all. 50 years ago we had vacuum tubes and core memory which would not be susceptible to EMP. Yes, we could suffer major damage but we would recover in months.
Utilities would be up again quickly, and many of us replace our high tech stuff every year anyway.
I just posted this to another thread, but it applies here:
You can watch the track of the North Korean satellite on these two websites. The satellites code is KMS 3-2 (NORAD 39026).

It travels directly over the US often. This link will give you a list of future times:

Never fear Hagel is on the job.........................ummm, time to build a cellar
I am afraid that thw NORKS will drop a 6-10 Kt nuke on someone, Guam, Japan, Seoul, Dutch Harbor and that the haloed one will go on TV and say we can’t kill thousands or millions of innocent Koreans because of the action of their insane leaders and he will either seek a drone solution or do nothing.
IBD needs to do a little more research. While EMP is a problem if you have the right people with the right missiles with the right warheads, the little firecracker nuke attached to a Nork “Punkin’ Chunkin’” rocket isn’t going to send us back to the Stone Age.
I don’t think low-yield nukes will do it. I had understood that it took 1-10 MT explosions above the atmosphere to create widespread, damaging EMP. A few kt? Not so much.
SO....IN TEH EVENT THEY HAVEN’T FIGURED THIS OUT, WHY DON’T WE JUST TELL ‘EM!!!
Well they could unite with Germany and bomb Pearl Harbor again.
