Live Report
Exactly who I was thinking of . : )
CS is tear gas. While its supposedly only an irritant some studies show it causes significant pulmonary, heart, and liver damage.
When burned CS releases phosgene gas. Phosgene is classified as a chemical weapon and is banned by international treaty.
In Waco they killed numerous people because CS tear gas is heavier then air and it displaced all the oxygen in their lungs. One little girl was found bent backwards with her back broken. The muscle spasms caused by the chemical broke her back.
a suspect? were there many?
pushed or pulled back inside?
words have no meaning.
CBS reported that none of the police at the scene of the fire had actually seen Dorner. They weren’t sure he was still in the house or not. I know he’s a murderer but couple this with the 2 old ladies shot and the surfer and this just stinks to high heaven.
Of course, considering all the care the LAPD displayed for the safety of the general public when spraying copper jacketed lead in the direction of anything that moved.
And wow, who could have called the cabin burning to the ground...? Oh, that's right...I did in post 322 on this thread. Not like this was a hard one to call.
No more searching cars - residents can return.
Thanks for the info on CS.
Reporter was talking about an “air ship” being used to keep eyes on the cabin. Air ship = Drone??
Ok guys/gals..SOTU countdown, almost 20 minutes.
Which stations will break? I’m laughing at all the hand wringing that must be going on!
Because this fire is not going out anytime soon..
Yeh....Like I’d return....
Tough call for the networks tonight. Decisions, decisions . . . . . .
Either they cover the story of an angry, ultra-paranoid, narcissistic, evil, black man intent on getting people killed and spreading hatred and anger, or they cover the Dorner story?
Don't laugh too hard. Watch the networks cover the speech but break away from Rubio's response in order to cover the Dorner story.
(Applause)
Does satan like extra crispy?
In modern usage, there is no reliable way to discern what is meant by any term, short of asking for a more definite and precise description.
Post of the day!
Not mine....I just copied/pasted. :)
Those of us who were in combat specialties were ordered to visibly inhale much CS gas in a room before we were allowed to exit the room. That was after the room was flooded with the gas, being ordered to take masks off, reseal them, etc. When we were standing outside, our snot and saliva hung to the ground and kept flowing. Then we inhaled it on various training occasions later (fire and maneuver, etc.). The stuff is part of a soldier’s diet. It’s fun to inhale it, until our eyelids are turned inside-out, and run really fast, or to crawl nearly as fast, and to hit targets and the like.
Thanks for the link.
