Really, Jackie? This is coming from the country that doesn't allow freedom of speech and religion, sends people back to North Korea to die in camps, and has a one child policy that results in a disproportionately high number of young girls being aborted and forced abortions.
We're more corrupt than China? We're more corrupt than North Korea? We're more corrupt than Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Turkmenistan, Somalia, Cuba, etc? Really?
I saw this posted on an urban website, and the majority of people, Americans themselves, we're AGREEING with him. Leftists have succeeded in getting many Americans to dislike their own country and the documents it was founded on. I don't get it. If I thought I was living in the most corrupt country in the world, I'd hightail it out of there, but these people stay and complain.
Another anti-American who is proud to make money in America and, in his case, HIDE in America. (Per the article: In the same interview, he said that he was bullied by Hong Kong triads and had to hide in the United States. He also said he needed to carry a gun everyday to protect himself, leading to a police investigation.)

Jackie Chan is a hypocrite bastard. He makes and made a fortune in America with his hokey martial arts films.
Just like that elitist bastard Patrick Stewart, and a host of other foreign parasites who come here, make a fortune on Americans and then go bad-mouthing us. Screw them all and I’ll be damned if I ever buy another one of their films or waste time watching another one of their idiot shows or pictures.

Compared to Barack Obama and the criminal enterprise that is the Democrat party, America is the most corrupt nation on earth. Hamid Karzi is a piker compared to Barack Obama.
One wonders if all the corruption noted was summed if it would begin to approach the $530 million given to Soylendra alone.
In defending America against corruption, you have become a liberal.

Well I am so relieved that we can rest easy now.
I mean, I have just been waiting and waiting with bated breath for Jackie Chan to weigh in on this most serious of issues. Of course, Jackie Chan being the final arbiter of what is and isn't corrupt.
Asshat.

We're more corrupt than China? We're more corrupt than North Korea? We're more corrupt than Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Turkmenistan, Somalia, Cuba, etc? Really? With the tyrants like Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Ayers, etc. and Emmanuel in charge? You ask that?

Obama has spent trillions on various “recovery” projects. The Chrysler bailout cost about a billion, and the UAW gave Obama 100 million in return (as “campaign contributions”. Assuming that Obama’s cut is about 10% across the board, he has raked in hundreds of billions. Of course, Obama has had to spend some of it, what with the expense of buying a fraudulent election, paying Republican senatorial candidates to make stupid statements, buying a favorable Supreme Court decision, buying votes in Congress, etc. But if the truth were known, Obama would have to be ranked as the dictator who pocketed more loot than any other. So, Jackie Chan is (inadvertently) correct, if not for the reasons he thinks.

I donât know about the most corrupt but you would have to be a idiot not to see the massive coruption in this government ...led by the most corrupt and dishonest person to ever take the oath of office. We should not have such a knee jerk reaction when some one points out the obvious.

Jackie Chan also said China is a relatively young country, where in the first half of its history it was "bullied by so many people", and that it only achieved "real success" in the past decade.I presume that isn't what he really said. Unless for some really peculiar reason he wants to claim China came into existence as a nation after WWII.
In actual fact, of course, Chinese history goes back somewhere close to 3000 years, making it by far the oldest country on Earth.

I agree. Our society is very, very rotten. I don't trust the media. I don't trust election results. I don't trust politicians. We have big problems in this country, but patriotism/jingoism makes a lot of people say, "Not us! We're great!"
Are we worse than China, Afghanistan, Nigeria? [shrug] Probably not. But I think America is living a lie in a great many ways. We are rotten and corrupt.

“sparked criticism in Hong Kong, which was returned to China in 1997, after he reportedly told a Chinese magazine last December that protest in the city should be restricted.”
So Jackie wants no protests in Hong Kong; he sides with the murderous Communists?
Okey dokey then.

I have to agree with him in large part.
There is no way a know-nothing communist like Obama would become president if it weren’t for rampant corruption.
Just take a look at Chicago, his adopted hometown: The most corrupt city in the world.
Meanwhile, the super-rich, like Soros and his buddies, continue to take money from hard working Americans through graft and skimming and special deals.
Yes, we have become corrupted.
