Biden: Obama Considering 'Executive Order' to Deal With Guns
"The president is going to act," said Biden, giving some comments to the press before a meeting with victims of gun violence. "There are executives orders, there's executive action that can be taken. We haven't decided what that is yet. But we're compiling it all with the help of the attorney general and the rest of the cabinet members as well as legislative action that we believe is required."
Biden said that this is a moral issue and that "it's critically important that we act."
Biden talked also about taking responsible action. "As the president said, if you're actions result in only saving one life, they're worth taking. But I'm convinced we can affect the well-being of millions of Americans and take thousands of people out of harm's way if we act responsibly."
Biden, as he himself noted, helped write the Brady bill.
Eric Holder was scheduled to be at the meeting that's currently taking place at the White House.

Someone in Congress needs to step up and say publicly "Americans do not need to comply with this" and cite the Constitutional reasons why.

FReepers please don’t bother with “that’s beneath us” and “we don’t act that way.” Not doing what it takes to stop these people is what has this country going down the drain.

I was speaking about this and his EOs with my dear departed mother in 2010 right before she died. She died heartbroken this country had elected this man. She asked me about what would happen when he came for the guns. I told her “I’m not going to give them up under any circumstance”......She said, “I wouldn’t either.”
She was 86 when she died. Lived a Christian life, never smoke or drank, never lied and obeyed all the laws until her death. For her to endorse what I told her I’d do is pretty condemning of what evil we are confronted with today.
This is going to get ugly, very ugly.

If you read the personal writings of the day from WWII, Hitler and his minions were similarly (and pleasantly) surprised to discover that Westerners simply will keep bending over backwards as long as they can.
For us, everyone knows that this war is going to be an ugly, vicious, bloody war... and one side is doing everything it can to bear the burdens and ignore the incoming tyranny. When the fight eventually comes (no telling what event will play the role of Poland), it will not be pleasant.
Over 1 million abortions in 3 years so I guess we don't need to hold our breath on shutting down PP.

Can you imagine the hissy fit the libs would have if a Republican president issued an Executive Order banning abortion?
Or an Executive Order lowering the top income tax rate to 10 per cent?
Or an Executive Order allowing oil and gas drilling in National Parks?

Less than a day after Walmart said it was too busy to meet with Vice President Joe Biden and his commission on gun-legislation proposals, the nation’s largest gun seller has had a change of heart: Walmart will send a representative to a White House meeting on Thursday.
