State police are responding to a report of a shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School on Dickinson Drive, school officials said.

Police are reporting a number of injured parties. The nature of their injuries is not clear.

There are unconfirmed reports of two shooters

I’m hearing the same but that means 13 adults - which would be every frickin teacher at the place. Something isn’t right here.

The reporting on this tragic event is all over the place... I'm not sure what to believe. We'll know soon, I suppose.

Apparently most of the shooting occurred in kindergarten classroom. Such a horrible tragedy. Two handguns apparently used.

I’m thinking the shooter’s probably another crazy Satanist. Perhaps he had some connection with somebody at the school (I notice he shot the psychiatrist) and perhaps not.

I knew something was up when they interviewed Monsignor and they asked him to hold it together because he started to break down.He was parents and children at the Catholic school.He said that some of the parents could not find their children.

apparently father of student. I'm sure he was met at the door by the principal and psychologist - they were shot. And here's my beef - they were sitting ducks. Just because my kids practice lockdown (meaning they are STUCK IN PLACE) AND because the school has a nice sign saying "please sign in" does NOT mean the school nor the children are safe.

Either allow parents like me to carry while on property, for teachers to carry, or lock the doors - all of them - and have a check-in procedure outside of the school.
