Prayers for these poor people. If I ever find myself in a mass shooting situation I will not go out hiding under a desk.....more than ever folks should consider obtaining a concealed carry permit and being able to protect their loved ones at any time

One thing I will add is that you need to take a good look at what took place here, and don’t expose yourself unless you are absolutely positive you can make a difference. Not trying to be condescending, but I don’t want to encourage folks to confront this type of individual unless they are armed and close enough to do what they need to.
If the guy has a rifle and they have a hand gun, he can be effective at a much greater distance.
And carrying regardless of local laws preventing it. I hate to advocate the intentional breaking of the law, but until I can be guaranteed that nobody else will be carrying, I will carry everywhere.
