One thing I will add is that you need to take a good look at what took place here, and don’t expose yourself unless you are absolutely positive you can make a difference. Not trying to be condescending, but I don’t want to encourage folks to confront this type of individual unless they are armed and close enough to do what they need to.
If the guy has a rifle and they have a hand gun, he can be effective at a much greater distance.
I know me and gun or not, I’d be attacking this guy with anything I could get my hands on...I speak as an overweight grandmother that has not killed anything except some bugs in my life....
To protect children I would act even in a hopeless situation. I would rather go out in the attempt to help and draw fire towards me and away from children then die hiding under a desk. Or survive and wonder if I could have made a difference
