Boehner: Obamacare Must Be on Table During Budget Talks

President Barack Obama must show a willingness to cut back the healthcare reform law during budget negotiations, says House Speaker John Boehner. “President Obama has won re-election, but his healthcare law is still driving up costs and making it harder for small businesses to hire workers. As was the case before the election, Obamacare has to go,” Boehner writes in the Cincinnati Enquirer. “The president’s health care law adds a massive, expensive, unworkable government program at a time when our national debt already exceeds the size of our country’s entire economy. With the Supreme Court mostly upholding Obamacare and the president winning re-election, that oversight and state actions are the only avenues left for repeal, Boehner says. House committees can go after various elements of Obamacare, he says. And state governments can do their part by resisting government-run insurance exchanges.

what budget. every budget Odumbo submitted was rejected by the Senate. The Senate has not had a budget for over 3 years. Continuing Resolutions is where the issue is to be achieved. Take the so called CR back to 2000 or even back further.
Come on Boehner do you think the American are so stupid that we do not know how screwed up hings are in DC. Boehner when are you going to utilize the backbone God gave you. What about the cahones that you profess to have. Hopefully you are getting a shot of testerone on a regular basis so you stop the senseless weeping and crying.
I will wait and see what happens but I will not hold my breath. Recently Boehner staed that the Republicans must make some sort of compromise to prevent the fiscal cliff. Fiscal Cliff be damned cut , cut and make more cuts. Start in DC - no budget passed by the Senate - no paycheck. Cut the size of government. Eliminate waste. Eliminate needless vacations by Odumbo. Eliminate needless Golfing. Place a moratarorium on Golfing no golf until the issues in DC get discussed. (Taxpayers withold all tax payments, until DC gets its act together).
This has nothing to do with Obama, Boehner, or politics in general. U.S. employers have been giving very strong, unmistakeable signals that they simply can't operate with this kind of nonsense in place. THAT is what is ultimately going to bring Obamacare's demise.
The Marxist POTUS will have Boner tearing up in 10 minutes.

This is much better than the usual crap from Boehner. Now he puts ObamaCare on the table and then during negotiations it comes off the table and we pay more taxes. Before it looked like Boehner’s starting place was caving in and paying taxes only to compromise and end up paying even more taxes. so at this point I welcome any slight improvement in our miserable pathetic negotiating position. :-)

Exactly. You got it. When you negotiate, you have to start from a position of strength, not weakness. No reason to feel that Obama has any more of a mandate than the GOP does in the House.
I’m ready to get head over heels over the cliff, if it means we prevent ZERO from causing more harm.

Everyone should be complaining about Boehner to their Congressman. I’ve sent my letter already. I told him to look at some of the Young Guns and get some new blood in there.
Yes, If repeal of Obamacare isn’t in the deal, let the Fiscal deal that’s already signed go thru. Show how these Rats demagogued the Bush tax cuts and that they were only for the wealthy.
There for just a split second I thot I saw some hair growing-——but then I realized it must be my imagination. There’s already been too many lost opportunities to fertilize that bald spot.
