Obama spent $6 trillion of deficit in 4 short years to keep the peace in the country and buy himself an election

There is no way Obama can spend another $6 Trillion in the next 4 years

Half the country was going to be pissed off either way. The president has done nothing to reach out to our side so nothing has changed other then we can watch his policies be approved and smirk.

Going to be crazy if Romney wins the Pop Vote and Obama loses the EC after what both sides said in 2000.

I still think the EC is fair, but now that the shoes might be on the other foot, I bet a lot of people on both sides switch their arguments.

Though Obama might win it out of Cali, Wash and Oregon I guess.

One simple word: “Divorce”... We need to be thinking about this possibility. No marriage as bad as the American political situation would last ten seconds and everybody knows it.

Not going to happen. Once California reports, 0 will take the popular vote. It looks like TIPP will be the most accurate.

Indeed!
Fight on!

But we should be planning now for 2016. The demographics are only going to get worse with full scale Federal welfare recruitment and the Obama illegal amnesty(s). I was unwilling to believe that half the nation are now committed to socialism (even if they don’t realize that’s what their positions represent). So what do we do to turn that around? How do we show our fellow Americans where their choices will lead in the end? And how do we convert a bare 51% majority into a working advantaqge?

Romney has the bragging rights but its no solace tonight.

He lost trying to appeal to liberals and when given a choice, liberals opted for the real deal - Obama.

We have no conservative movement in this country. Liberals are in the majority now.

The electoral vote process is not “quirky.” Without it, the largest cities in the nation would decide all elections. Think of a city like Chicago offsetting a good portion of the popular vote in other states. Right now, Chicago is capped. It can only influence Illinois’ electoral votes (and wipe out a great number of people in S. Illinois that want nothing to do with Chicago politics). What would happen if the Chicago margin of extra liberal votes offset Republican votes in red states? That’s what would happen if we went to a national popular vote! I think something like the ten most populous cities would have a lock on the entire country.

If Romney wins the popular vote, can we take Obamacare back to the Supreme Court? Didn’t Roberts say he was leaving the decision to the people? If the majority of people didn’t vote for Obama, then the electoral college made the decision, not the people.

IF Romney wins the Popular Vote, then the Liberal Messiah should be resisted by all Conservatives and the States.

The United States, more so than ever before since the (First) Civil War, has become a legal fiction. We are really the Red States of America and the Blue States of America, with the Purple States in neither camp.

Right now I am done with it. As someone posted elsewhere, the problem is not who got elected, but the electorate.

A couple of months ago, Evan Bayh - former Dem Senator from Indiana - said that if BO “won ugly,” he would be unable to govern. BO won ugly.

We are in for four years of disastrous government. It is going to hurt everyone.

I am encouraged that Republicans strongly held the House. I hope they will show some guts. Daryll Issa needs to crank out the subpoenas full force.

It is time for the electoral college to go. Straight up popular vote. Why note?

Cali put Osama over the top in the pop vote. But it’s close. 49-49, Obama up less than 500 K. With the easy E vote for Obama it’s like 1960.

My mom is drunk, suicidal, renouced her faith and emailed me she sent immigration papers to Canada.

Please calm down everyone. America will survive. Get some sleep my friends. Or try to.
