To our dear friends at the U. S. Department of State: You might be right about these folks’ immunity, but if we here in Texas decide that it is in the best interest of their safety for them to be taken into protective custody, then perhaps you could let us know where you’d like to pick them up on November 7th. Thank you for your cooperation.

Stay thirsty, my friends.

Don't forget we finance this invasion through U.S. yearly payments (our tax money) to the U.N.

To boot, 44 invaders will be positioned across the fruited plain to catch any conservative voting fraud. They have to be transported from overseas, housed and fed during their occupation of our sovereign territory. Are we going to see the expense sheets they turn in for reimbursement? Will they see the local sights while they're encamped here? Will they eat at MacDonald's like too many Americans have to resort to now, metaphorically-speaking? Will they be put up at the local el cheapo Don't Tell Motel? We will never know, of course.

In addition, methinks when the designated precinct locations of these international spies are presented in full detail, a hundred-feet-away !!! FREEP !!! beamed at the U.N. usurper ensconced therein would be SOOOO delicious.

I hope one such hostile intruder will be coming to my locale.

Leni

Arrest them anyway. Then cut them loose at the end of the day.

Kinda like "catch an release".

If I see one of these jackwagons at one of my polling places, I’ll be the one arrested after breaking their nose. Screw this, it’s time for full out revolution.

Don’t arrest them or what? That sounds like a challenge.

Looks like they’ll just be in the state capitals. By the time the ballots get to those they will have been laundered pretty good. Here’s a few places where observers should go, but feel free to add to the list: Cleveland, Cincinnati, Columbus (OH), Philadelphia, Chicago, West Palm Beach, Miami,... In short, the big cities of the battleground states is where the most fraud will occur.

In the Eyes of a Ranger
The unsuspecting stranger
Had better know the truth of wrong from right

Cause the eyes of the Ranger are upon you
Anything you do he's gonna see
So when you're in Texas look behind you
Cause that's where the Ranger’s gonna be!

Treasonist Clinton, do the UN observers enjoy the same immunity that you and your boss afforded Al Qaeda?

International election observers planning to visit Texas polling places have “full immunity” from being arrested in the United States

My achin' ass they do! Besides, they may have "immunity" from the police and authorities, but that won't save them from We the People. And I'd hate to face an angry Texas mob ...

“I’m not going to get into any kind of hypothetical situations or predict where this is going to go other than to say we have every expectation that this will be worked out and to state the fact, which is that under U.S. law they are eligible for immunities,” said State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland. Reporters tried to get her to state explicitly that Texas could not arrest election observers from the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), but Nuland would only reiterate that OSCE observers have full immunity.

You know, I have heard that name recently. Let me see...

Yep! Here it is.

It was prior to the 9-11 attack on the Benghazi Consult, in June I believe. She was making a statement on the trial balloons being floated regarding releasing Sheikh Omar abdel Rahman — aka the blind sheik, who is serving a life sentence for the first World Trade Center bombing.

He is the leader of Gamaa Islamiyya, a well known terrorist group. In June, the State Department actually issued a visa to a member of that very same Gamaa Islamiyya — again, this is a designated terrorist organization — and met with him in Washington, as part of a delegation of Egyptian leaders. He is told by State Department spokesperson Victoria Nuland, in reference to Sheikh Omar abdel Rahman, “We neither had then, nor do we have now, any reason to believe that this particular individual — who at the time of his application was a member of parliament — would pose a threat to the United States”

No threat? Odd, he is doing a life sentence in the federal slammer for leading the first World Trade Center bombing.

But Victoria is very clear here. He is "not a threat."

Yeah, THAT Victoria Nuland.

Now she is covering for for OSCE??

The Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE/ODIHR)

Basically they appear to be the biggest busybody, stick-their-nose-in-your-business org on the planet.

http://www.osce.org/what

But “full immunity” from being arrested in the United States?

Laughable.

Reporters tried to get her to state explicitly that Texas could not arrest election observers from the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), but Nuland would only reiterate that OSCE observers have full immunity

Umm, don't think so Mizz Nuland.

Let's look at "Diplomatic Immunity" as it is practiced here in the u.S.

Diplomatic immunity is a form of legal immunity and a policy held between governments that ensures that diplomats are given safe passage and are considered not susceptible to lawsuit or prosecution under the host country's laws, although they can still be expelled. It was agreed as international law in the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations (1961),

In reality, most diplomats are representatives of nations with a tradition of professional civil service, and are expected to obey regulations governing their behavior and they suffer strict internal consequences (disciplinary action) if they flout local laws. In many nations a professional diplomat's career may be compromised if they (or even members of their family) disobey the local authorities or cause serious embarrassment, and such cases are, at any rate, a violation of the spirit of the Vienna Conventions.

The Vienna Convention is explicit that "without prejudice to their privileges and immunities, it is the duty of all persons enjoying such privileges and immunities to respect the laws and regulations of the receiving State." Nevertheless, on some occasions, diplomatic immunity leads to some unfortunate results; protected diplomats have violated laws (including those that would be violations at home as well) of the host country and that country has been essentially limited to informing the diplomat's nation that the diplomat is no longer welcome (persona non grata). Diplomatic agents are not, however, exempt from the jurisdiction of their home state, and hence prosecution may be undertaken by the sending state; for minor violations of the law, the sending state may impose administrative procedures specific to the foreign service or diplomatic mission.

The Convention does not cover the personnel of international organizations, whose privileges are decided upon on a case-by-case basis, usually in the treaties founding such organizations.

Yes, the u.S. is an active member of OSCE.

NO, there is no treaty. OSCE is a NGO, not a nation. Continuing...

Other categories of government officials (not international organizations) that may travel frequently to other countries may not have diplomatic passports or diplomatic immunity, such as members of the military, high-ranking government officials, ministers, and others.

There are some limited immunities for staff of international organizations. The following demonstrates the basic difference.

International organization category

Diplomatic-level staff of missions to international organizations

May be arrested or detained? No

Residence may be entered subject to ordinary procedures? No

International Organization Staff

May be arrested or detained? Yes

Residence may be entered subject to ordinary procedures? Yes

So, Mizz Nuland, about that OSCE observers have "full immunity."

It is you that appears to be full... of "it."

Importantly, the The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) are joining “an additional 80 to 90 members of parliaments from nearly 30 countries.”

I suspect that this is a non-story, for several reasons.

First and foremost, American polling is very orderly, by about any standards. It is also “observer friendly”, because partisan poll watchers are fairly common.

Second, the internationals can “look but not touch”, but that is pretty well expected. They are also not supposed to make any comments on sight, just note if they see anything unusual.

And third, the internationals have already written two reports, one for if Obama wins, showing the election was totally fair and square; and a different one for if Romney wins, which may or may not claim extensive voter fraud.

I hope Texas and its officials ignore the State Dept.....but this was the same state whose GOP politicians (Gov Rick Perry especially) backed down on the Texas Anti-TSA law when the Obama Admin made threats

This would be a good time for Texas to man up and stick some of the UNPunished Nazis in jail.

Also, for Diplomatic Immunity, you need to prove that you have it....you just cannot merely say “I have diplomatic immunity” Yes, Texas can stick a UN “observer” in jail until it is proven that the person actually has “immunity”

I’m sure the US State Dept would feel the exact same way if the KKK announced that they would do the very same thing in heavily Dimocrat neighborhoods.
