Breaking news on Benghazi: the CIA spokesman, presumably at the direction of CIA director David Petraeus, has put out this statement: "No one at any level in the CIA told anybody not to help those in need; claims to the contrary are simply inaccurate. ”
So who in the government did tell “anybody” not to help those in need? Someone decided not to send in military assets to help those Agency operators. Would the secretary of defense make such a decision on his own? No.
It would have been a presidential decision. There was presumably a rationale for such a decision. What was it? When and why—and based on whose counsel obtained in what meetings or conversations—did President Obama decide against sending in military assets to help the Americans in need?

I can’t wait to see the movie that’s made about Benghazi. A conservative patriot in Hollywood needs to make it so the American people can see how Zero left those guys to die. Once they see faces behind the names and get to know them via the actors, they would be even more angry over their needless deaths and Zero’s abandonment. Whenever I think about their last moments on earth, waiting for the cavalry that never came, my blood boils even more!

They worry about their careers, not their lives. But even if their life were at risk and they remain silent, that means two obvious things;
a) our government is murderous and despotic, and will murder a citizen for telling the truth to the people.
b) the silent ones rate THEIR lives as more precious than those SEALs who ran towards the sound of battle no matter the cost.

They don’t seem to be. I expected it to be one of th top stories on abc or cbs but they covered several other stories before I turned them off. I didn’t even bother with nbc.
Why were the locals who grabbed the AMBASSADOR’s phone able to dial it until they reached somebody?
At my mildly security conscious company, I’m REQUIRED to use a password on my mobile device. Aren’t AMBASSADORs supposed to have some operational security in place?

Petraeus,, remember your oath and stop being a coward. Your career, or even your freedom for speaking of secrets, is still a FAR lower price than the one those SEALS paid.
