Got to remember ?
A lot of those people who live in South Central PA now moved away from Maryland and Baltimore City in the last 20 years.
And does anyone think ?
That those very same people don't have family ? friends ? work associates ? still in the state of Maryland ?
Got to remember ?
Those very same people who live in South Central PA travel into Maryland, Baltimore, DC every day to work and then go back home to PA at the end of the work day.
Maryland might be, could be the surprise upset this election year.
Obama's campaign might have to pour more resources and money into Maryland now..... the thin blue line, feeling almost purple now.

I don't know what I will do with my time. Currently, I get up in the AM, do everything that absolutely must be done as quickly as I can and when done, commence election watch. My fairly in check internet addiction is back full tilt. As I furiously type away my iPhone blares various apps emitting news and opinion from right wing pundits as I check the daily polls, Twitter, FR and other conservative sites.
Still I welcome the elation victory will bring as I know the war with the left never ceases.

Paint me still skeptical about PA. If this does happen Obummer has about 0% chance of winning.

If on election night they call PA for Romney, the election is over. It would mean a Reagan/Carter-level landslide has occurred.

You're very tiresome .. esp. for someone without the grit to (at least) fly a flag on their profile of the idyllic state they're pontificating from.

You made a good point, and you're correct - but it reminds me why MD is not a likely win on election night. O'Malley and the legislature have raised taxes to the point that a lot of people have moved away to VA, PA and elsewhere.
Unfortunately, that works against the idea of MD flipping. Those who see the light and have the means are leaving. The wife and I discuss leaving a lot, but we just had a baby so we're stuck for a few years. These ex-Marylanders coming to PA will vote Republican, so at least they'll help PA turn.
It's possible the way momentum is going that MD is interesting, but I'd bet on OR or NJ falling before we did.
