"Two Jews, three opinions" goes the famous joke. And every day, more of those opinions turn pro-Romney, as American Jews increasingly reject the collapsing presidency of Barack Hussein Obama.
Romney's surging poll numbers in the crucial state of Florida reflect his growing success with Bubbie Molly and her unemployed grandson Adam, who both thought their right hand would wither if it ever pulled the lever for a Republican.
The signs and portents are everywhere, beginning with the special election of a Republican in Anthony Weiner's heavily Jewish, New York congressional district one year ago. Now a startling new poll even has Romney performing the ultimate miracle: the parting of the blue states, winning the Jewish vote by a healthy 44% to 40%!
Florida activist Alan Bergstein described his recent experience advocating for Romney in the Jewish stronghold of Delray Beach. "Of about 100 entering and leaving the Bagel Tree eatery in that plaza, we ran into only two Democrats and loads and loads of Romney supporters. They stopped to talk to us, to congratulate us and to support us with their views of the Ryan/Biden debate. They were militant and fearless."
What's driving the Jewish exodus from the Democratic Party? Like everyone else, Jews are singing the bad economy blues. But they're also increasingly acknowledging the uncomfortable facts about Obama's hostility towards Israel and its Jewish supporters.
"Absolutely Uncertain," a 20-minute YouTube video starring 23-year-old Irina, a disillusioned Obama voter who analyzes the president's harsh treatment of Israel, racked up an astonishing 650,000 views in just three days. The Republican Jewish Coalition's video, "Perilous Times," is closing in on a million views, as anxious Jewish voters seek information outside the mainstream media to understand the accelerating nuclear threat to Israel from Iran.

South Florida billboard. Note the very small CBS tag at bottom center. LOL
Next time you get a chance remind them that Hitler was enthusiastic about Jewish abortions, and ask them, just who the hell they think liberated Hitler's camps if not Christians?
Sure as hell wasn't fellow Jews, who mostly sat tight in Manhattan.
How many, I have no idea, but to deny that jews are just as capable of bigotry and hate as any other demographic is plain dogcrap stupid. If you need a waker -upper, recall the way they treated Sarah Palin in 2008.
Science and medicine are traditionally and intrinsically apolitical. However, with ever-increasing government intrusion into those areas in the last half century or so, the left has been on a campaign to gradually install political correctness into these professions. The same applies to law in the United States in principle, but again the left has been at work even longer than that to pervert the fairness and justice in the legal system so as to achieve its partisan desired results.
These are not really Jewish matters per se, but rather manifestations of American societal decadence. American Jews are more affected by these trends than others, statistically speaking, because of their participation in greater percentages in these professions than their percentage in the population.
That having been said, liberal arts and social sciences are traditionally more prone to political perversion than law, science, and medicine, especially the latter two.
Yes, most of those who liberated Hitler's camps were Christians of one denomination or another. But Jews were represented in the American armed forces during WWII in a percentage greater than their percentage in the American population. There were over a half million Jewish American servicemen during WWII and some were involved, obviously, in the direct liberation of the camps.
You are distorting history when you say that American Jews "mostly sat tight in Manhattan" during this trying period.
The Republican Party has Christian, Jewish, Mormon, and non-religious members.
The Democrat Party has Christian, Jewish, Mormon, and non-religious members.
Neither party has any sort of religious monopoly.
That CBS tag is very significant, because it shows that the times are changing. It would be hard to imagine CBS allowing an anti-Obama political sign on its billboards a year or two or three ago!!!
There are cracks starting to develop in the heretofore universal MSM protection of "Osama" Obama. My guess is that it's because even they are beginning to see the writing on the wall, and recognizing that their guy is likely to be a lame duck in a few weeks.
Actually, there is no significance.
The CBS outdoor plants are just like all the other outdoor plants out there: They want to do business! And, if you've got the money, they'll post your signage.
Same company...different management. And the outdoor people can't afford to run their plants like the network.
I don't know, but it certainly isn't ignorance. A Ph.D. in biochemistry knows full well that elective abortion kills a living human being. Any M.D. or biologist does.
“...liberal arts and social sciences are traditionally more prone to political perversion than law, science, and medicine, especially he latter two...”
This is true, however even these three areas have become more and more successfully converted/perverted (to paraphrase sodpoodle) to the libral atheist secular view.
In law, subjective relativism is taught as a viable logistical foundation for decision making. The ability to justify reinterpreting the constituiton based on the ridiculous notion that it is outmoded reflects this. SOme justices were even able to find abortion rights in the constitution right out of thin air! A recent survey by Princeton only lists about 15 or so conservative law schools - this number may be a bit off because it is based on my recollection, but it is somewhere in that range.
Science(biology, anyway) and medicine have been corrupted by the insidious distortions of Darwin. Literal biblical creationism is too simplistic, however this universe with the complex interactions of its creatures and the incredible orchestration of the components that make up man himself point to intelligent design. What about the law of entropy? The opposite has happened, and not by random accident.
The idea that man simply evolved gave rise to the idea that abortion is OK - we are just animals after all, along with the whole evil “scientific” premise that populations need to be controlled. Global warming is another outgrowth of this misguided belief - there are too many of us and we are causing warming so killing people in the name of saving the earth is encouraged.
Although law, science and medicine have withstood some immunity, all disciplines have been more or less infiltrated by secular atheism, unfortunately!!
I agree. All my Jewish Uncles but one served in WWII, and my Jewish father would have, but he flunked the physical three times because of a duadenal (sp!) ulcer. He wanted to serve.
Well, I guess you do.
“AFAIK the Israelis never so much as said thank you.”
You mean besides awarding Nixon and Kissenger the highest award Israel can award to a foreign citizen, right?
Or this toast from the Knesset Dinner:
Prime Minister Golda Meir. To Golda.
MRS. MEIR. “As President Nixon says, presidents can do almost anything, and President Nixon has done many things that nobody would have thought of doing. All I can say, Mr. President, as friends and as an Israeli citizen to a great American President, thank you.”
.....
President Katzir’s remarks were as follows:
“Mr. President, Mrs. Nixon, Secretary Kissinger, honored guests:
We meet this evening in the great hall of the Knesset, the legislative body of the State of Israel......
Mr. President, we have had to do so much in so little time. And while we have been building, we have had to sacrifice much to safeguard our freedom. Certainly in this we shall never falter. At the same time, in our quest for peace with security, we shall always remember the moral and material support we received from the greatest democracy in the world, the United States of America. Therefore, Mr. President, Israel salutes you. It does so in gratitude and appreciation. It does so because of your special, historic role in giving strength to an historic people. True friendship is tested in times of trial, and you, Mr. President, have demonstrated this magnificently. Your understanding, your concern, your deeds in support of our defense and our freedom have contributed greatly to the strength of Israel to defend herself through her own efforts. And a strong Israel is in itself a component of the peace and stability in our area to which your mission is dedicated......”

“How many, I have no idea, but to deny that jews are just as capable of bigotry and hate as any other demographic is plain dogcrap stupid.”
No one denies their are Jewish people who dislike Christians or vice versa for that matter. But to say, as a blanket like Ann Archy routinely does, that Jewish people are Democrats because “they hate Christians” is a stupid blanket statement.
“If you need a waker -upper, recall the way they treated Sarah Palin in 2008.”
The members of our shul hosted a fund raiser for her that raised over $300,000. I guess that’s bad.
geesh, here we go again!! I’m ONLY talking about the ones I KNOW!!!!! They hate Christians WAY more than Muslims who want to KILL them!!
I live in Great Neck, more Jews per square mile than anywhere outside Tel Aviv. A lot of my friends and neighbors do have their head up their tukhus politically but I don’t know a single one who “hates Christians”. I guess we know different people.
leftist American Jews loathe conservative Christians more than Islam..at least so far
Islam is something most view from afar and can sit back and let their distant kinfolks in Israel deal with it and send them some donations from time to time and feel ok with it
for them...the real battle is Christian fascism..to them anyhow
it's an old story...big difference is that at least Hollywood was run by old Jewish furriers who loved America...then the subsequent generations took over and no attempt is made to conceal the contempt
and plenty of shabbaz goyim around who feel the same way
this is just an ongoing unfolding of providence
I don't think Jews have ever majority voted GOP....since they bailed on Taft in a 4 way 1912 race and have been Democrats ever since...course the parties then and now are not exactly the same...the social agenda we have now would have been unthinkable then from any party...not even Eugene Debs
just a few years before openly religious William Jennings Bryant had driven them into the arms of the GOP with their fear of his religious fervor
and so it goes
what is happening now is that Obama is deep in their pockets and is openly hostile to Israel so exit polls may show Jewish support fall below 70% ...which would even beat the the low ebb Dems got from Jews in 1980
it helps I guess but to me it's much ado about nothing..cept maybe SE Florida...but if Jews in the media and Hollywood turn...then you got something
Sorry you have such a hard time comprehending what I wrote....I said “WAY more”! Good GRIEF!! And yes, I do know different people than you do!
