Jim Lehrer moderating.
I quick put on MSNBC (could only handle about one minute there) Ed schultz thinks Obama got screwed on time!
Al Sharpton was screaming the race card with 47% etc.
I saw Rachel Maddow but could not wait to hear her speak-I had to turn it off. I felt so dirty!
Lehrer tried to give more rebuttals to Obamugabe; but Romney insisted on getting his rights.
Some Dummie at the Dumpster had the cluelessness to say about that-”Well Romney owns his own plane” as if that’s worse than the taxpayers having to pony up for all the vacations and trips Moochelle and Hussein take! I’d like to hear more come out about the grand home the Obamas are supposedly buying in Hawaii now that they’ve used Chicago all they could for political connections.
AGREE 100%.
Lehrer was likely 10 times better than any of the possible choices. He let them debate (although what Obama was doing wasn't really debating), and did his best to keep them on the subject. WHICH IS A VERY HARD THING TO DO during such a debate.
Romney talked broad issues and principles with assurance and enthusiasm; Obama looked like a college sophomore trying to impress his professor and failing. While Romney spoke, Obama looked sullen and resentful. We need a man in the White House, not a spoiled kid.
Mayor Rudy just put Mad Cow in her place. He told her that Romney interpreted his economic plan as he knows it is not what MSM has interpreted to be.
Rudy told her that Obama was not used to being challenged on anything that he said.
Rudy told the gay twerp wearing glasses, “Chris” that he doesn’t want the government to be spending ANY more money.
So.. DU has gone on lockdown. haha. Panic Mode.
Another poster said the same thing to me as you, and I thought about it, and think you’re both absolutely RIGHT!
I love that about myself!
It was the fact that Obama didn’t do the same thing, look Romney in the eye, that for awhile seemed to make Romney look almost desperate, due to not getting a like response, that starting getting me really miffed. But Romney did the right thing!
And at this moment, everyone is talking about it.
For all his narcississm, Hussein can’t be that stupid as not to know that he’d never have been more than a “community organiser” without affirmative-action style propping him all the way to the White House. Therefore, when faced with a man who has intrinsic self-confidence, he knows it and shrinks before it. He and his supporters will put it down to the arrogance of white privilege, LOL.
"Hurts like a bitch, don't it?"
MSNBC said that Obama got four minutes more time from Lerher than Romney.
I am in Denver and heard an interview just before the debate on KNUS. Steve Kelley got 10 min with Romney yesterday. Listening to Romney in the car, I got more and more confident. Steve Kelley asked him “how much pressure is on you for this debate?” and also “how nervous are you?” Romney answered both that he was really excited to get the chance to talk to the American people directly. He said “I can’t wait for it!”.
I got home and turned it on and the rest is history!!
I thought the same thing about 0bammy—couldn’t understand or follow him. I suppose I’m not smart enough to understandnd it. Of course if Romney had done that, media would say he was rambling and incoherent.
“They (MSM) will declare Barry was thoughtful. (what all the ummms mean)”
That’s exactly what some of the PMSNBC pundits are saying tonite, that Obama is just reserved and thoughtful, LOL. I’ve never seen such long faces as there are tonite over on PMSNBC. A joy to watch.
I think he was talking about big banks, and an orderly process to unwind them (which would still collapse the financial system, IMO).
I like how he compared that to oil company subsidies - 50 years worth of oil subsidies. That really is going to hit people who are paying record levels for gasoline.
The mainstream media don’t control the narrative the way they did in 1992.
*Never* underestimate the arrogance of a Leo.
I know.
I am one.
And yes, we can be “that stupid” unless we’re ‘noble Leos’ who reign with humility.
There’s no chance in hell I’d ever debate Romney.
I know when I’m out of my league.
Obeyme probably does now, too.
:)
It really doesn't even matter. Obama could have had 20 extra minutes, and it still wouldn't matter.
All Obama did was regurgitate failed campaign promises, and wandered all about a subject using key phrases, with no actual conclusions at the end. His 'math' consisted of "A" followed by "2". (He actually said that, I'm not joking)
I feel bad for obama. Manchelle’s gonna whup his friggin’ ass.
