..............Incredible as it may seem to most outside observers, Mitt Romney is actually what currently passes for a moderate in todays Republican Party.....
Romney was sold in the teeth of opposition from a significant section of the Republican grass roots as the pragmatic choice, the compromise they had to make with ideology to secure victory. And when he loses, those activists are going to go as vengefully crazy as Cains Rhode Island Reds.
Anyone who doubts the reaction of the GOP stalwarts to Romneys impending defeat should bear in mind this single, if chilling, fact. Most of them still think hes going to win. They genuinely believe the polls are fixed. They seriously think the surge in support for Obama is nothing more than an "MSM" conspiracy. Some of them clearly even believe the good Lord himself will appear in the spin room at the University of Denver next Wednesday.
And when non of these things turn out to be true, the reaction will be truly terrible to behold. It will be like what happens inside one of those doomsday cults the morning after they all wake up and realise the world hasnt ended after all. First the shock, then the denial, then finally the anger and retribution.
The pinko, Marxist, Obama-loving side of me cant wait for the fireworks to begin. But theres another part of me thats quite disheartened at the thought of the last few moderate elements of a once great political party vanishing beneath a tidal wave of post-election Tea Party hysteria. The majesty of Lincoln, boundless optimism of Reagan, dignity of McCain swept from the pages of history by a bunch of moon-colonising, carnivorous chicken-touting, hurricane-summoning fruit loops....

Hillary hates Obama.
Obama hates Hillary.
Obama hates Bill.
Bill hates Obama.
Hillary hates Bill.
Bill hates Hillary.
If when the Republicans win, the demoncraps will blame each other
for not succeeding at setting the proper marxist agenda and creating
the everlasting marxist utopia.
Remember when Our Lord talked about setting your foundation on rock?
These yahoos have no firm foundation.
And, they have denied Him 3 times and they cursed Israel.
Therefore, God will have no reason to hold them up any longer.
Same if he wins.

Black minister speaks about why people should leave the demoncrapic party:
Whoever Wins or loses, Dems will go nuts. Have to worry about both sides going nuts. But I think Dems will go nuts more than Republicans. If Obama wins they will start going crazy, if he loses they will start going crazy. Plan for riots if Obama Loses. Plan for problems as they gloat or try to mobilize to in celebration.
The destruction of the American nuclear family has led to the economic and cultural decline of the country
Obama openly promotes that which destroys the family ( abortion... homosexuality... secular society) He is evil.
Romney is not a Messiah he is not perfect ( far from it after all he is from MA I can say this as a former MA resident) In fact there is no perfect conservative who could ride in on a horse and save us from ourselves.
Mitt Romney can however lead by the example of having a beautiful nuclear American family... a model our country sorely needs to see more of.
As I wrote last night, and some cliche spouting dofus here interpreted it as a wish for the Kenyan to win, if Obama should win, and the economy collapses, the MSM might just turn on him, if only because their own economic interests will be at stake, and as only the MSM can do, they’ll drive him out over some minor scandal that they’ll blow up into a second Watergate. A lot of ifs and I’m not perdicting anything.
What a pathetic blogger this loser is. His blog sounded as if it were copied verbatim from a post at DU.

Democrats will engage in sabotage of America perhaps even worse than when 0bama was President. And don't expect 0bama to go away either; He will STILL be on television and be in our face 24/7 with his shadow government activities and trying to run our government from the outside.
The election is not over yet, ...
but yes there will be plenty of fingerpointing if MR loses. Circular firing squad.
and I am sure I join in ....so not to imply that I am above such things...
Does anyone remember how upbeat were were around here going into the 2006 congressional elections???
We got our a$$e$ handed to us on a silver platter.
We were all convinced the media was wrong and we had a better feel for the country then they did. We were wrong.
I’m getting the same feeling going into this election.
Benjamin Franklin said something to the effect that, “I always expect the wort, and then when it doesn’t happen, I am pleasantly surprised.”
Kill all the rino’s.
If Romney wins: (1) Riots on the streets by Obamaphone holders, (2) Romneyhitler monicker or perhaps Rommel, (3) The Homeless suddenly re-appear.
Totally agree.
The Repubs nominated RINOmney, who is a much better man than the dork...but still a RINO.
If he loses, I’m NEVAH supporting anything Repulsican again. We’re going to have to go total Tea Party and tell the RINOs to shove it up their collective smelly Obamas.
If Mitt loses there won’t be any America left to worry about. The parasites will have devoured the host.......America will be toast after four (or more) years of Obamugabe policies/executive orders/edicts and commands. The Constitution will be just a piece of faded parchment in a museum. It was fun while it lasted...................
“The majesty of Lincoln, boundless optimism of Reagan, dignity of McCain’
I guarantee you this clown never had a good word to say about Reagan or McCain in years past.
As for the rest of his spiel...I do think Romney has his work cut out for him. I’d like to think the polls are all hilariously wrong, but I don’t think that’s much to hang one’s hat on this point. Romney’s been hammered mercilessly over every single comment (in context or not) by team Obama and by many media outlets. As a result, I do think some people are buying the narrative that Mitt’s the second coming of Thurston Howell from Gilligan’s Island - i.e. a wealthy guy hopelessly out of touch with the average person. I don’t think it is a lot of people, but it is probably enough to hurt him in close battleground states. The overall popular vote doesn’t matter, getting just enough states for 270 EV’s does.
Now, do I think it’s all over? Heck no! There’s a month to go and the race is tight. Florida, Ohio, and Virginia are all still very “winnable”, and I don’t think Obama is going to repeat in North Carolina or Indiana. Romney has the chance to erase a lot of doubts in the first debate and put a lot of nonsense to rest. The window of opportunity isn’t as large as it once was, but it is still very much there, IMHO.
