I am sorry for your loss.
Ohhh what a beautiful little guy. I’m so sorry for your loss, RS. I know your heart is breaking, but there is joy in heaven today. I’ll be praying that the Lord will bring you comfort.
Yes she was full West Highland Terrier. She just was never a big barker. She loved everyone :)
Sorry to hear about your loss. I’m sure Dutch and your Dad are together again.
Prayers for the Comforter to hold youin his arms.
I’m so sorry for your sadness - the loss of a faithful pet hurts. Hoping your pain eases.
Condolences, FRiend.
Oh, I’m so sorry for your loss. Looking at that pic made my heart ache.
I’d pray, wish, hope, etc. for a quick recovery from such a heart break, but I know better.
Just took out my sympathy card I received from my Kittys crematory (12/16/10)....
“Our Deepest Sympathy”
“We know it is difficult to say good bye to a pet you held so dear.”
“We hope you find comfort and peace in the fond memories you made together”.
From Us to You,
NoGrayZone & Kitty
P.S. Tell your Dutch to stay away from my Kitty (yes, that’s her name). She’s really mean.
Our pups are our best friends. I am very sorry for your loss.
Sorry for the humor post. The thread didn’t pop up until after I posted the picture. I am truly sorry for your loss. I know how I’ll feel when my beloved Roxie passes on.
With regard to your post 28, in which you suggest that RS adopt another dog, I think that this quote is appropriate:
A Dog’s Last Will and Testament
When humans die, they write their Last Will & Testament, give their homes and all they have to those they leave behind. If with my paws, I could do the same, this is what I’d ask:
To a poor and lonely stray I’d give: my happy home, my bowl and cozy bed, soft pillow and all my toys. The lap I loved so much, the hand that stroked my fur, and the kind voice which spoke my name.
I’d will to the sad, scared shelter dog the place I had in my human’s loving heart, of which there seemed no bounds.
So, when I die, please do not say “I will never have a pet again, for the loss and pain is more than I can stand.
Instead, go find an unloved dog, one whose life has held no joy or hope and give my place to him.
This is the only thing I can give...the love I left behind.

The lifespan of a beloved pet is merely a moment in time compared to our own. It only takes a minute to make friends with a dog, an hour to fall in love with him, but a lifetime to forget. They fill that moment with joy, amazement, unfailing love, devotion, laughter and tears.
You may want to hit the abuse button on your lolcat and ask the Mod to pull it. Done that myself a few times.
I want that cat SO bad!!!!
Humor can be the best “medicine”. Anything that can made a sad person chuckle, even for a second, in the midst of their loss, is of great benefit.
Oh dear. When our pets die there’s nothing else quite like it, is there? They are just so...themselves.
I am sorry for the ache you have now..God will comfort you until it eases.
I’m sorry for your loss. Losing a pet hurts.
