I’m sorry for your loss. Losing a good friend is always hard.
Your father was so lucky to have Dutch. And Dutch was lucky to have you both. Tomorrow will be a bit easier. God bless.
Thanks for all of the kind words, I am blessed to be associated with such wonderful folks that make Free Republic what it is!
I’m sorry. My dad passed away Sunday before last. He was 88 and a WW2/Korea vet. The best generation of American’s is leaving us.
That wasn’t nice - Minot saying his reply was appropriate but no need to impugn our veterans

You didn’t lose a friend...your friend is saving a seat for you; Right next to your dad in Heaven. (God loves his animals and He loves His children, as well.)
Shed a tear, and then rejoice-—your loved ones are with your Father and they await you and are deliriously happy.
(NOW; go give a deserving abandoned dog or pup a beautiful life! You sound like a wonderful person who could make an abandoned dog the perfect friend.)
Prayers for you. My husband took a job overseas. My 17 year old daughter decided she didn’t want to live with me. My dog doesn’t leave my side. The only better friend is Jesus. No doubt it’s very painful for you.
I know how you feel. I have lost two Westie’s in the last twenty year’s and I missed them so much that I have a new Westie puppy.
I mourn the loss of mine and your beautiful little Dutch.
God Bless Dutch and your Dad.
Condolences to you on your loss.
Dutch is beautiful! He looks like my girl Tally, who I lost a few years ago. She was the best dog ever...I had to teach her to bark.
God be with you and your Dad. Prayers
We've had three Westies.... 2 died after long (but not long enough) lives ('SASSY' and 'A GIRL NAMED BUBBA'). We cried long hours and days when they passed. We now have another ('BUBBA TOO'), but he's now getting tired and slow.
Suggestion ----> Get another one. It kinda eases the pain.
GOD Bless.
Sorry for the loss of your dear little friend.
Hugs.
God is watching over Tally.
I wish to ask you if you had a Westie?
Mine have all barked full throttle up at most everything...:)
Sorry to hear of your loss, hate to see that generation pass.
Hope that we can instill an attitude that the present generation does not disregard the accomplishments of the past.
