Newt and Camilla. It was embarassing. Why couldn't he have gone on by himself? BTW - my opinion best was Rand Paul.

There was NO speech which was wrong on content... everyone said what needed to be said.
Stylistically, not everyone is a natural speaker.

I’d rather keep the focus on the POSITIVE. THAT is what is distinguishing us from the ridiculously negative Democrats right now.

Mitt’s speech surprised me, especially after the half-way point. It built and built.. Condi’s was excellent as well. Ryan’s of course. Hard to tell. I think Mitt’s was simply because a lot of people had the lowest expectations from him. We knew Ryan and Condi would do well.

oops, never mind. You were asking the worst. I don’t feel like focusing on the negative.

“Newt and Camilla. It was embarassing.”
For sure. The worst job of reading a teleprompter I've ever seen. The best line was by he of little words (usually), “politicians are our employees”.

And I thought Eastwood’s was the best speech. I couldn’t sit through the others more than a minute.

I saw the “old” Republicans were dry...the “new” Republicans had the energy and the message....I saw a brand new Republican party...lots of energy...caring...inclusive...family....happy..they looked great to me....The McCain, McConnel´s were to “politician” for me

The worst? The ongoing poo-pooing by Marxist commentators from PBS. Such blatant bias! Why are they allowed there? Those same creeps will be cheerleaders at the Demoncrap Convention.

Not a direct answer to your question, but my question is why has there been no mention about Santorum’s FANTASTIC speech? His “hands” theme could resonate.

Tough choice. Mathews or Eastwood. Paul didn’t move me at all. Mitt came off surprisingly well. If nothing else he deserves the most improved medal.

I watched a few of Mitt’s speeches over the years and I always thought he was quite an effective speaker. He gave one in Iowa on the last run that I thought was pretty good. I have to say I liked Ryan’s and I liked Rand’s quite a bit. Newt should have left the wife in the crowd. Clint was my favorite because I am partial to him and he said some things that none of the other speakers mentioned like our quagmire in Afghanistan. Also, he did something I saw little of in the speeches and that was mocking this abominable president we have now. That needs to be done more, because it’s obvious by his quick response that he can’t handle being joked on. Only one other person makes fun of him, the pariah of the liberals - Rush. I wish more did. It’s an effective way to drive them crazy.
Others were very good. Nobody really seemed to be a letdown. Condi was good, very classy. Rubio has a stirring effect. I could go on and on and on. I did expect a bit more from Christy, but he wasn’t bad.
