AURORA, Colo. James Holmes, the accused gunman in last Friday's midnight movie massacre in Colorado, mailed a notebook "full of details about how he was going to kill people" to a University of Colorado psychiatrist before the attack, but the parcel sat unopened in a mailroom for as long as a week before its discovery Monday, a law enforcement source told FoxNews.com.

"Oh no, we didn't even see that until afterwards, such a tragic thing." /s
“last knight”
lol
(forgive me, I needed a chuckle today)
Not the point.
Think about what I am saying.
***Doncha’ just love the way these legalisms strangle us everyday.***
I remember when George Wallace was shot by Arthur Bremer. The whole thing was caught on film but he was still the “alleged” shooter till after the trial.
I don’t remember if Jack Ruby was also referred to as the “alleged” shooter of Lee Harvey Oswald, or if Oswald was referred to as the “alleged” shooter of John Kennedy.
Have you ever been around campus in the summer?
Things move real slow or not at all, LOL.
Well, I’m sitting here wondering why an individual in a PhD program for Neuroscience would be keeping a logbook of his own psychiatric state. A logbook implies several things. One would be that others were aware of his mental state. Another would be that others were interested in his mental state. Given the nature of the program, that can lead in a direction that the university would prefer not to be pursued.
“”Why would a harmless package be considered suspicious ??? That makes no sense. Betting this Prof knows a lot more than WE will ever know. Did this Professor get a phone call from Holmes? Was he treating experimenting with Holmes?? Is there Hypnotism involved?? Psycotic drugs?””
I agree with your suspicions.
Why were the cops called to look at a suspicious package and then by accident find another one with Holmes return address?
Did the psychiatrist return the Holmes package to the mailroom after it had been delivered to him on the 13th?
How many times did Holmes meet with this shrink?
I’m sorry. It’s been a long day. I’m not seeing where you are going with the comment. Was it sarcasm?
Yes, there is. S&W has been manufacturing them for several years.
If you take the road that it had been opened and reviewed by at least one person - it lends more credence to the idea that something was going on- such as experimentation.
If you take the road that it hadn’t been opened - it makes no sense that this would have been sent at least a week before the events - because something should have been done about it. There is a duty if there is a threat. So why would he give a warning before the events when it could have stopped him.
I posted in the live thread of the massacre that the Perp probably had a ‘manifesto’ somewhere.
Usually, ‘smart’ people who commit these kinds of atrocities also write manifestos.
An even more cynical person might question the post mark and the reality of it even being there until after the fact.
Had it not been for his guns, he would have used a bomb. That would have killed hundreds.
BTW - There is a S&W M&P 15. Their version of a AR 15. Never saw on up close though.
This is the most common. There are a few closer shots, and I'm still looking for them.
It's very obvious from this angle that AR is using a standard magazine and NOT a drum.
I am VERY familiar with how Universities work - what their mindset is. I’m not saying anyone received this before the actual act, but I can tell you, if it had, the very first people that would have been alerted besides the President of the University, etc. would have been the University Lawyers.
I suspect not just the University.
His family is connected. Did they know about the experimentation? Would you want your child experimented on in a such a way? So maybe they didn’t know.
Unabomber was experimented on by a top level Harvard Professor who had worked with the OSS.
I know a lot of people think this is just a case of adult shizophrenia.
I think there is more to it. I think he was a subject.
Found `em.
Darned if I can figure out what the heck they have to do with firearms...
.
That’s a good excuse....let’s go with that...
I read it was discarded in the theater. He put the magazine in the picture in the gun, but since it was jammed, it was a no-go.
I’d had the impression that parking by this emergency exit would have attracted attention. That’s his car, that white Hyundai Tiburon. Parked legally. Could’ve sat there for hours unnoticed.
And look at all the blood on the sidewalk. Sickening.
