It was just on yesterday’s show that he couldn’t remember the last names of two well-known people .... now I remember him doing this, but for the life of me *I* can’t even remember these names now... ;-}

Ah yes, good old what’s his name, I knew him well.
To: blam
That’s how I first heard of FR was from Rush mentioning these people that supposedly hated him on this website.

My parents had five kids - they never forget the names, but did occasionally forget which name belonged to which kid. ;-)
There were five of us, too. My brother swore there was a sixth named Dammit, because my mother would always say that after running through all of our names when she tried to remember who she was yelling at. :)
The response we always got after the “run-through” of siblings’ names was, “Ah! You know who-the-h*ll you are!”

"Thats how I first heard of FR was from Rush mentioning these people that supposedly hated him on this website. "I heard Rush describing FReepers on his radio program a long time ago and said "There's My People."
I bought my first computer so that I could come to Free Republic and be with 'my people' daily..

At least Rush mentions FR. Sean Hannity reads FR and uses ideas from here for his talking points and refuses to name FR on air. One time he was putting down some leftist and said that the right has many websites that are hugely popular like - and then he held back and completed his sentence by saying they would be too numerous to name.
I have noticed that an idea that appears on FR soon is uttered by Hannity.

Far FAR FAR too little and MUCH MUCH MUCH too late.
I predicted this. He gave less than 5 minutes when it really counted, made a joke or two, and now he defenders say, “See! He talked about it!”
Rush failed big time.
By the way....Since I don't listen to Rush anymore. How much time did he give to discussing Arapio’s press conference? Hm? ZERO?

I used to LAUGH when my grandma would call me all her kids names first then go down the list of my brothers then finally get to me...now I do it.
I once forgot my own name... I kid you not! I was being introduced to someone, and as I was shaking his hand and introducing myself, I completely lost my train of thought, and everyone broke down laughing... Luckily I only had to endure the ribbing for another 2 months before my contract was up there!

Personally, I will **NEVER** trust Rush again. How he has handled Obama’s eligibility has been DESPICABLE!

I take it you didnt take the George Foreman route? :)No - just normal names. Patrick, William, Michael and Timothy.
I get them right 98% of the time, but that 2% really gets me grief.

Hm...in the mid-80s Xerox had a mouse-based system called the Star. It was a fantastic machine for word processing. The documentary did not mention this?
