He’ll gain no votes there.

This is a very conservative area.

We may have this all wrong. He could be heading to Cheyenne Mountain and the NORAD Bunker.

I once lived for a short time in Woodland Park, many years ago. The house I rented had a lovely view of Pike’s Peak. Wonder if it’s still there...

reuter rooter bah. not as bad as abc news with diane sawyer.
tonight she asked how close the fire is to the city center. 3-4 miles wanting the stupid people who get their news from the alphabet networks to think the fire could engulf the city.
channel 7 thedenverchannel.com has been overriding national programs to bring clear, concise, professional reporting of the 3 main front range fires. no hype, no bs speculation no mention of any danger to downtown and no saying the same crap every 30 minutes like fox, cnn weather channel.
bho should have been here last night and flown over the fire with the governor. he would have seen what his afterlife residence is going to look like.

If I were Hickenlooper, I would tell Obama to find something else to do. Unless he wants to bring in an army of people willing to work to undo the damage he and his party have done to the mountain West over the past several decades, he needs to stay wherever he is and shut up.

Great, everywhere he goes disaster follows. What happens when he visits a disaster already happening?

Lost your house in the Waldo Canyon Fire? Instead of rebuilding your dreary old shack, do something that will go a little further: donate the money you were planning to use for rebuilding to Obama for America. We'll provide you with Section 8 housing and we're running a special on Food Stamps this week, so you don't have to concern yourself about food or shelter.

Maybe it’s fitting he’s going to see raging fires then, as Obamacare will be going down in flames tomorrow.

Unless Air Farce Zero is prepared to perform low level water drops, I don’t think his skinny butt flying in here and grounding fire fighting flights is going to go over so well.

Every time the President’s plane flies there is a 30 mile TFR put up around it.

A ray of hope for our youth. From the CS Gazette blog:

11:51 p.m.

A pair of 16-year-olds brought smiles to evacuated children at the Cheyenne Mountain High School shelter.

Alexa Batzel, a junior at Air Academy High, and Conni Gilstrap, a Sand Creek High junior, arrived Wednesday evening with armloads of stuffed animals after seeing pictures of the fire and displaced children on television.

"It makes you sad when you see that," Batzel said.

The two teens aren't done helping others in their community.

"We're buying $100 of food for Care & Share tomorrow," Batzel said.

Batzel has classmates who've been evacuated and another family is staying at her family's house after being forced to leave their own home. Of a good friend of her father, she said, "I'd never seen him cry."

I wonder what Michelle Malkin thinks of Obummer’s visit? Her family has been evacuated for 5 days now. She’s got good coverage of the fire on her website: http://michellemalkin.com/

OOOH the first black President is coming to my State to show us How much he Cares. That means our State and local police and the average citizen will be called to make this photo-op /campaign stop look good for the Jacks and Jennies that watch MSNBC. HE will NOT do anything at all to help -but he will get in the way and look soooo Presidential and the recently legalized illegal aliens and others too dumb to be anything but useful idiots will repeat the mantra “well at least he came and saw Colorado burning. “and they will insist we are racist if we remind them of the cost such a purely political campaign stop will mean in actual terms.

It is evil people, especially leaders, that are bringing this devastation upon our Country. Satan wants to somehow gain from the misery his lies, corruption, immorality, and deathly choices have wrought upon us. When are we going to understand and realize that the battle we fight is a spiritual one, that we cannot win until we seek The LORD, repenting of our sins, and submitting ourselves to Him, through His Son Jesus Christ our LORD?

It is time for us to stop living for ourselves, as though there is no God, and start living for Him with all of our hearts.

Also, the time is way past, for us to put away worldly entertainment. It burns up our time and our inclinations. We must be centered on doing The LORD’s will. We must start considering ourselves as soldiers in His holy, and loving army.
