Just announced on Rush. On the heels of today's SCOTUS decision regarding Arizona's border protection law, Napalitano (Obama) has just notified Arizona that the federal government/ICE/DHS has been ordered not to cooperate with AZ regarding the reporting of illegals stopped in AZ.
The Administration is following the US Supreme Court on this one ... as the court said that was within their ability.
Arizona can do what the court said it was allowed to do and the Federal Government can do what the court said it was allowed to do.
This decision by the court really didn’t settle the “Immigration Issue”. That’s going to have to happen within the political sphere. It’s going to require a President who will “make policy” which engages in “mass deportations” ... then you’ll get something done.
Just wait until the Executive Orders start flying when Obamacare is struck down.
Yeah, just so amazing this issues was pooh-poohed in 2008. It should hve been huge news and disqualified Obama immediately.
I agree. Arrest them, let Arpaio hold them for a week or two in the desert cutting cactus, and then put them over the Mexican border.
For a fee, Offer to hold and deport illegals for other states.
Build a big fence inside the Arizona border line with Mexico and tell our Federal empire to pound sand.
Watch for the feds to sue those states in the next few weeks.
This ruling is the thin edge of the wedge.
If the SC said AZ cannot enforce federal law, why can’t AZ refuse to enforce ALL federal laws?
Been trying to get that across for years. King Obama and his communists machine has America by the gonads and will continue up to January 12th. And he might win using proved communists methods.

If the President personally thwarting enforcement of a law passed by a legislature and upheld by the Supreme Court isn’t an act of tyranny and grounds for immediate impeachment, what the heck is?
We should do it on a scale of millions. Send them a message that we don't have to obey the laws either. I am fed up -- thinking about dropping out, going rural and fending for myself and my immediate family. To hell with everyone and everything else. FED UP!!!!
Yup. The SCOTUS has ruled that AZ LEO can ask people for proof that they're not illegal and can call the feds to pick up the illegals, and has ruled that the feds can tell AZ to pound sand.

It’s way past time for Arizona to take matters into its own hands. Just arm the border and shoot to kill. End of problem.

Judge Andrew Napolitano gave his analysis on Fox. The judge stated that the heart and soul of the Arizona law was struck down. Only feds may enforce immigration laws.
On the status ruling it is unclear. Difference in a police officer checking to “see if they are wanted” vs “see if they are illegal”
If an officer stops someone for a DUI or jaywalking...the right to check status will probably end up in courts. Sad day for America.
