What the Hawaii AG forced Bennett to do to his request for verification:
1. Withdraw the whole form he submitted. Because the form had no special directions, HRS 338-14.3 would require the HDOH to verify the accurate, legally-probative facts, and HI can't do that for Obama because his birth record is late and amended - and thus not legally probative as per HRS 338-17.
2. Keep the request for verification that asked the HDOH to verify what is on Obama's birth record. The HDOH can do that without claiming that any of those CLAIMS on the BC are actuallly accurate or legally valid.
3. Change the request from asking for verification that what Obama posted online is a "true and accurate representation of the record on file" - to asking if the INFORMATION on what Obama posted matches what is on file. This is necessary because what Obama posted is an ABSTRACT or composite of what is typed (the incomplete BC) and what is "actually written down" (the affidavits to support the late and amended filing). And it lacks the notations that it was late and amended.
This is why they had to C&P the document. The stamps on the real thing (the non-forged version, if they have one, at the HDOh) would have filled the empty space toward the top of the BC, and the notation of what evidence was submitted to support the late filing and amendment were right in the area where the seal was supposed to go.
I'd post the article which shows the documentation, but I don't know how to post a PDF. And I'd try to get this as a blogger post that serves as a new article in the special category in News/Acivism as per the new policy, but I don't know how to do that either. I'll ask for help from the mods.

Seems to me that Alvin Onaka and former interim HDOH Director Neal Palafox are as good a bet as any. Payback would be sweet for Palafox, and staying out of jail would be a good deal for Onaka. Or it could be some of the “little people” who are just sick of the crap.
Something that floored me was when Abercrombie told Mike Evans the truth. And he actually balked and was probably mostly truthful to the Star-Advertiser columnist too. Makes me wonder if he’s a communist idealist and doesn’t even realize he’s been played for a fool. But then again, it was HE who ws claiming publicly that he saw Obama with SAD and BHO as a baby (even though he admitted to Mike Evans that the first he saw of Obama Jr was at T-ball age).
Interesting times. I suspect that Onaka - as Jill Nagamine’s “client” - told Nagamine that he CAN’T do a standard verification for Obama, so she and the other guy at the HI AG’s office know the real deal, as does Onaka. Of course, Fuddy knows because she claims to have seen the actual document and since they refused to say the forgery was a true and exact representation, that probably means anybody who saw the actual document knows Obama’s posted LFBC was a forgery. That includes Fukino.
And Okubo has been the fox guarding the chickencoop the whole time; all requests concerning Obama go directly to her so she can lie and obfuscate. When asked what her job is she should say, “blowing farts in everybody’s faces”. lol. It’s got to be demeaning for any self-respecting person. I did once suggest that she could get witness protection if she bolted and told the truth; it flustered her to the point she responded to the wrong request in her response.

I knew as soon as I read the statement put out by Joshua Wisch that the whole exchange between HI and AZ SoS Bennett was a word-parsing, legal-tap-dancing sham.
Just my humble opinion:

The box keeps getting smaller, and smaller. I agree with you and Fractal Trader that any possible legalese excuse has long ago run it’s course. They all now are knowingly engaged in both fraud and misprision of fraud and forgery. Not to mention the big T-word.
For some stupid reason, the Obots, miss the obvious. Hopefully, those who have been entangled can see the forest for the trees and save themselves.
I say entangled, because, I can’t imagine most of the people snagged were willing participants. Like the hospital people. I’m sure they’ve got their hands full of running a hospital. Who needs to sacrifice for some political hacks.
That verification has just upped the ante. Anyone that thought they would be avoiding some physical threat faces the very real threat of doing time.
Let me see, “I could be physically harmed by coming forward or go to prison? Seems to me that being physically harmed in prison is a certainty.”
Even those just tangentially related would face the fall-out to their reputations and careers. Why not let Obama and his minions face the music alone?
Hawaii has their own reason for hiding the truth but it is complicated.
It would need to be a “white paper” with an executive summary and then hundreds of pages.
Actually, your work should become a book. Then you could get a whiz-bang computer that lets you get to your own blog...

I made matching quilts for my friend and my husband (2 different people. lol) - because I had figured out how to do the Ohio Star block and was so excited about it that I made too many for just my husband’s quilt. lol. And then my friend was going through a really rough time. Really dark. So I made my husband’s quilt with a white background and my friend’s with a black background, kinda like an Amish quilt.
The white was beautiful, light and happy. But the colors of those stars against the black background was stunning. The darkness intensified the brightness of the colors. I had ironed onto the center blocks Scripture passages that talked about hope and God’s promises. And what I wanted my friend to know was that in the darkness the rays of light shine out all the brighter and give more joy.
The best part about this dark mess we’re in is that the people who really do love freedom, the rule of law, and their fellow-man are so bright in the darkness, and such a gift, that it’s stunning. That’s why I spend so much time here at FR. So many good people here, and they keep me hopeful for this life.
At the very LEAST I know that if this country is gonna go down we who love her will go down together.
And maybe that’s what this life really is anyway. We’re all gonna die sometime, and our life here is really just holding on to each other until then. What better way to spend it?

Check your HOSTS file on your computer and make sure those addresses are not in there and redirecting you to another site. Also, if you are using a router, check the router to make sure those sites are not blocked.
Bennett can throw a hissy fit all he wants. Arpaio is not investigating eligibility to be on the ballot. He is investigating criminal fraud. The SOS has nothing to do with that. Arpaio can just tell him to kiss his a$$. He had his chance.
