I know we are "at war" and 4 yo girls are the agents of choice, but this seems excessive.
The war on terror is over... but the war against American citizens is just gathering steam.
No, if you want to be left alone - do not violate a Security Check Point. When an alarm trips (as in the case with Grandma) - she needs to be checked out first. Injecting others is a known method for bypassing security and creating choas.
If you don’t want to go through security, fine ... drive, take a bus, train or bike.
I like to fly, I fly approximately 2-3 trips a month for the past several years - security is not that big of a deal. It takes all of 1 minute to x-ray my baggage, and 3 seconds to scan me. I OFTEN get a pat-down following the microwave scan because I wear a T-shirt under my shirt, and boxers under my pants. 15 seconds for a quick pat - and I’m on my way.
If this is too much for you to bear ... then drive. The TSA has a job to do, they are under constant criticism, and they operate in plain sight of everyone who passes through security, as well as everyone who has passed through.
Parents, control your children. If they make this mistake, it takes 30 seconds to correct; but if the parents create a scene, then it’s a huge mess. But, like it or not; security WILL be done for the safety of everyone.
Again, if you don’t like it - I suggest you drive your car.
I walked a trail yesterday here in suburban eastern Kansas and saw a woman (I assume it was a woman) in a full burka with a shawl over that. There were two men with her and she was pushing a little boy on a swing. I felt like walking over and taking photos with my iPhone. Then it occurred to me to flash the men (I’m 64 and a bit overweight). In other words, it evoked in me hostile thoughts. Then I wanted to go back and try to rescue her and the little boy. Sad. I did stare for a long time and with no apologies. I then saw one of the men walking towards the porto potty and made sure I got there first. When I came out he was not waiting. LOL. Hopefully he decided that if an infidel female had just used it he couldn’t.
It is officially time to evacuate the United States of America. I am doing all I can to get out, now.
We are mere moments away from a turn key police state.
TSA needs to be abolished
Isn’t it odd that some airports can and have opted out of TSA involvement!
Isn’t it even more strange that one in particular, is in a city in turmoil by the Federalies is Sanford, Florida?

This crap has to stop!
1. Is applying common sense to situations you might encounter beneficial or not and;
2. Please define the term "Logic."
If the answers to (1) is "We don't need to use no stinkin' common sense" and
(2) "WTF is Logic," then they are moved to the front to the line and automatically hired.
What is more scary-- and someone who is more knowlegable than I care to enlightmen me on WHERE the TSA gets its authority to now roam the highways and byways, stopping us for random searches--these Nazi-like, Jackbooted THUGS are now going to be intruding into our lives even for those of us who have intentionally eschewed flying and are now driving long distances (as I did some 1,500 miles when I vacationed in Florida this past Winter) in order to avoide these morons and their stooopid procedure (which as far as I know, have yet to foil ONE SINGLE terrorist threat) at airports.
The TSA was just doing their job. Terrorizing Americans.
I live in a country where a Federal security apparatus, run by Napolitano/Pistole, 'Peter Principled' incompetents, believes 4 year old girls are a threat to national security.
I wasn't born in this country. I was born in the United States of America. Unfortunately, that country is long gone.
The key thing to remember is that any part of the US within the land and coastal border, every airport, and the vicinity of every government building is currently a de facto police state.
The TSA VIPR program will shortly expand the police state to encompass rail and bus stations and major highways.
In a police state, the citizen must obey police authority or face the consequences like this little girl did. It is all to keep you safe, citizen.
