Notice: Free Republic has been in full rebellion mode since 2008 and will remain in full rebellion mode for the duration!

No more Doles!! No more McCains!! No more RINOS!!

NO ROMNEY!!

Those who cannot stomach rebellion might as well start looking for a new home on the net!!

Those who have ignored my hundreds of posts on this crucial issue or who have doubted me these last three or four years might as well get used to it. FR will never support the abortionist, homosexualist, socialist, mandate loving, constitution trampling liar Mitt Romney.

In case you haven't noticed, a TEA Party rebellion is on and Free Republic signed on years ago. There is no turning back. No more crap from the GOP-e!! They've screwed us for the last time!! Karl Rove and Mitt Romney, et al, loathe conservatism and loathe the tea party and took it upon themselves to use their money and connections to destroy nearly every one of our conservative tea party candidates while pushing their big government RINOS. That makes them the enemy. I will not reward that betrayal by giving them my support or my vote.

FR is and will remain a pro-life, pro-limited government conservative site!!

We are beholden to NO ONE!! We bow to no kings!! We bow to NO RINOS!!

I'd rather fight and die like a man than bend over and be screwed by a RINO!! I refuse to kiss Karl Rove or Mitt Romney's rings!! They can kiss my rosy red ass instead!!

FUMR!! FUGOP!!

Long live the rebellion!!

Hope my message is clear.

Spare me your long winded fantasies and soap box nonsense.

Its going to be either mittens or obama no matter whether we like it or not. The many dreamboats came up short for whatever reason, blame Fox, RINO’s, GOP-e, whatever. We have two people one of which will be potus.

Just do me a favor - along with everyone else staying home because of their purity tests - if Mittens loses by a tiny amount - please dont say a word when obama does all sorts of horrible stuff. At that point you have lost all credibility to complain about anything obama does.

And tell me what you think will change in 2016? So far according to many of the zealots on this site - ryan, toomey, rubio, are RINO’s now too!

So tell me what miracle you think is going to happen in 2016? I think it will be the same no matter what - ‘They are not conservative enough” will be tagged to everyone by those with completely unrealistic expectations.

It is what is is in November, I don’t like it one bit - but geeez - OBAMA FOR FOUR MORE YEARS? NO FNG WAY!!!

Best post in the entire thread. You took the time to spell it all out and I concur with all of it. It seems FR is becoming more anti-Romney than anti-o bam a. There are more threads bashing Romney than o bam a. I just don’t know what to think anymore so I mostly lurk once in a while.

"It would be a bigger loss to FR to not have my 21 years of PROFESSIONAL political insight than it would for me not to have a place where I’m afraid to post my point of view."

As a fellow new poster to FR, I don't see where on earth you get the nerve to suggest that you are indispensable to this site. Your arrogance is breathtaking. I strongly suggest you get over yourself.

I can do this by pragmatically choosing the lesser of two evils...
Choosing the lesser of two evils is still choosing evil.

A lot of people don't pay that much attention to what's going on around them. They hear a few propaganda sound bites and take them as gospel truth

I think that can be said about democrats. I wouldn't exactly say the average Republican voter is too stupid to form their own opinions.

Crystal.

And thank you.

My dh and I have been cutting back now for years, so we could be able to send our daughters to Christian school. This year, their tuition totals over a quarter of our salary, so it's not like I can give up a few lattes or trips for ice cream; we do that already.

But I will donate something. That's how much I believe in you, FR and flooding this nation with conservatism to counter the proliferation of cr@p called liberalism. I'm so sorry it can't be more.

No. Not stupid. Just too busy to pay close attention. Sound bites can be very powerful tools.
(Democrats vote themselves more of everyone elses money. That doesn't require any thought at all.)

I agree!! Romney isn’t even the nominee yet and already FR is doing all the DNC’s work by bashing Romney non-stop. I’ve been going to other sites that are still working their a$$es off to bash and expose o bama. Seriously, WTH? I really think the obots are ecstatic and have infiltrated FR.

If you have the ability to cancel out a Democrat's general election vote in favor of 0bama by voting for the GOP nominee and you choose not to, in what way are you not helping 0bama?

You're missing the entire picture here. Romney has shown through his actual deeds, that there is very little daylight between him and Obama.

The initial mistake you're making, is in your base assumption that Romney is different from Obama in some substantial way. He is not.

Listen up: Choosing between Romney and Obama is a choice in name only - not in substance. Give him your vote, and you are choosing to enable the same evil that is now destroying our nation.

One of the only mistakes from the start of this rebellion is believing that the GOP-e would willingly sign onto the TEA Party philosophy. There is no mistake now that the RINO establishment must be wholly replaced, no matter how long, difficult, and impossible this task turns out to be. We no longer have an official Republican Party, it has been eaten hollow by maggots.

I do not consider it a mistake to hope we could fix the problem from within. This was a necessary step. In my opinion, those that want to return the party to its principles are those that realize that the next step is to allow the party to fail under the weight of its rot by no longer propping it up as a somewhat conservative less progressive alternative to progressives like we did with McCain.

It is time to call a spade a spade, a progressive a progressive, a commie a commie, a RINO a RINO.

Let them fail for supporting failure. Let them fail like they should fail by no longer allowing them to succeed. Only then can the party be restored.

We can rebel all we want, but as far as I can tell this election is turning out to be like every other election I can remember in my life ... a choice between the lesser of two evils.

Clearly, Romney is less evil than Obama. And a vote for a “3rd party” candidate might as well be a vote for Obama in practical terms.

So, I will vote for Romney. Not because I want to, but because I know 4 more years of Obama means we are finished as a nation I wish to call home.

No - I see the absolute destruction Obama has done and is doing, and has plans to do if somehow he gets re-elected.

That is not an endorsement of mittens!

You don't know it, but you are embarrassing yourself.
Well then why are you concerning yourself?

Just like with many others doing the same thing as you're doing now you should just let me prattle on instead of telling me what I'm doing wrong.

Oops...I wasn't supposed to figure that out, was I?

Obama is a commie. I don't believe Romney is. Romney is obviously a capitalist. Obama is a spread the wealth guy. Most people in this election are voting on the economy. At least that's what the exit polls are telling us. How do you turn back after another 4 years of obama? He will have us so entrenched by then they'll be raising more than the rainbow flag in a war zone.

GlockThe Vote (acting as the aggrieved whining RomneyBOT)
".. if Mittens loses by a tiny amount"

You mean, the BACKSTABBER?

FLASHBACK:

The McCain/Palin ticket was up ++4 to 10 pts
in some polls, days prior to Election 2008.
So rather than helping the GOP, Romney and
TeamROMNEY and the RNME (Republican National Media Establishment)
decided …to attack Gov. Palin to throw Election2008.

Romney, and the Van der Sloot RNME RINOs for Obama in 2008

Late in October, The American Spectator's The Prowler revealed:
"Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers…
have been involved in spreading anti-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election.
'Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people will think of when it comes to 2012,'
says one former Romney aide…
'The only serious candidate ready to challenge to lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney.
"Some former Romney aides were behind the recent leaks to media, including CNN, that Governor Sarah Palin was a 'diva' and was going off message intentionally."

The Palmetto Scoop reported: "One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was
the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin."
"I’m told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palin’s people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides."
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romney’s former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
… aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw
that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.

"These staffers are now out trying to finish her off ….hoping it would ingratiate themselves with Mitt Romney."

"Who's the Palin Leaker from the McCain Campaign?
National Review Online The publication of a Vanity Fair profile of Sarah Palin
appears to have opened old wounds in the McCain campaign.
... the source of the “Diva” leak was Nicolle Wallace’s husband."

"Peeking Out From the McCain Wreckage: Mitt Romney"

"Someone's got to say it: IS MITT ROMNEY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBAMA'S VICTORY?"

"Vanity: Team Romney Sabotaged Palin and Continuing to Do So?"

"Romney Supporters Trashing Palin"

"Romney advisors sniping at Palin?"

Amen.

At least there are some people on my side.

I’m on your side as well.

RINOs will never get my vote.
