It's not easy to make Al Sharpton appear relatively restrained in a racially-charged case such as the one involving the death of Trayvon Martin. But Joe Scarborough has managed to pull off the dubious feat. On today's Morning Joe, Scarborough flatly branded the reported shooter, George Zimmerman, a "murderer." It was no slip of the tongue. A couple minutes later, Scarborough declared that Zimmerman had "murdered" Martin.
Sharpton himself never used such language, generally describing Zimmerman as the "shooter," and even imagining, without endorsing, a scenario in which Zimmerman might have been acting in self defense.

Presumption of innocence ping to Today show list.
Why does no one seems to remember Al Sharpton’s role in the Twana Brawley hoax.
I heard the 911 tapes. They told him not to go after the kid. Who, by the way. Also had a presumption of innocence.
More anti-white hysteria (though Zimmmerman could be said to be hispanic) from the old dying crazy media. Why there are any conservatives who actually respect the liberals in the media is beyond me?
I will go against the grain here and agree with Scarborough. All indications I have seen are that this was a good kid doing nothing wrong and this was not a justified killing. 99 out of 100 times, the race baiting is just that, but every one in awhile, it can be legitimate.
I also agree with Scarborough and don’t think it should be “going against the grain”. Zimmerman is clearly a POS who should rot.
Dear George Zimmerman,
If you are exonerated, I know where you can get a lot of money, and I can recommend a few good lawyers.
Love,
Laz
I think a grand jury better be empaneled on this matter but I still wouldn't call Zimmerman a "murderer" yet.
In the old west a gun fight was ‘legal’ if it was a ‘fair fight’, i.e. both parties had to be armed.
If the kid was breaking into Zimmerman’s house - burn him down!
But to accost and shoot an unarmed 17 year old on a public street? I need to hear a better reason to take a life.
Forget Tawana Brawley. Remember Sharpton's role in Freddies Fashion Mart killings.
This is big news in this part of Florida. I actually take exception to this Zimmerman character being called white. He looks more Hispanic to me, personally.
That aside, the hysterics are more around Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” law than the actual act, which is a tragedy. Neighborhood watch used to mean some concerned citizens patrolling their neighborhoods with radios and phones. See something, call the cops. It’s not see something, engaged suspicious target.
This guy sounded like he had a bloodlust and just picked some random black youth to blame.
Take the anti-gun messaging out of this story, and it’s possibly a hate crime; however, Mr. Zimmerman is still a citizen and still afforded the presumption of innocence.
For the MSM, you can be selective as to how you label people. Is Zimmerman an Hispanic or is he a non-Hispanic white? We label Obama black, which he prefers, but he is half-white.
So what kind of race baiting is going on?
Being "edgy" no longer gets attention, so he goes full bore with macho inflammatory language in the forlorn hope he'll grab some attention and his few viewers might conclude he's really a guy.

If charged, he has the right to be presumed innocent in a court of law. He does not have the right to be presumed innocent by Scarborough or anyone else not in the jury.
I have had CC since 1996 he maybe guilty maybe not, he appears to not followed CC guidelines, ammunition for the left is what he provided.
Watch the twists and turns now that everyone realizes the shooter is hispanic and not white.
I agree with you.
From everything I have read so far, it appears the shooter was at least wrong headed and this resulted in a tragedy. Turning this into a larger racial issue is a second tragedy. From what I read the shooter is hispanic, so this is an odd media flaming of discord between two minority groups.
There have always been idiots who style themselves vigilantes or some sort of special deputies. Elvis comes to mind. Police wannabes who like ordering people around and think they can be heros.
