For over 20 years, I have illustrated the absurd with absurdity, three hours a day, five days a week. In this instance, I chose the wrong words in my analogy of the situation. I did not mean a personal attack on Ms. Fluke.
I think it is absolutely absurd that during these very serious political times, we are discussing personal sexual recreational activities before members of Congress. I personally do not agree that American citizens should pay for these social activities. What happened to personal responsibility and accountability? Where do we draw the line? If this is accepted as the norm, what will follow? Will we be debating if taxpayers should pay for new sneakers for all students that are interested in running to keep fit?In my monologue, I posited that it is not our business whatsoever to know what is going on in anyone's bedroom nor do I think it is a topic that should reach a Presidential level.
My choice of words was not the best, and in the attempt to be humorous, I created a national stir. I sincerely apologize to Ms. Fluke for the insulting word choices.
Not before asking his locals to sit back and give his audience a chance to be heard.....

Nearly nowhere is the information available that she is a 30 something feminazi activist and not “just a student”.

I found it odd that she spouted about some “study” that bemoaned (moan not meant as a pun) the forlorn women at college “going without” The Pill.
So of course when I read she was actually a “women’s studies” (rolling eyes) activist and was THIRTY years old (not 18 or 20)....her citing of this “study” (paid for by US no doubt) then made sense.
She is just another cog in the wheel of socialism.
And yes, she IS a slut.
But worse, she is a socialist.

Were you calling and emailing Congress, DEMANDING that your Rep issue a statement on Maher or Schultz’s comments?
Were YOU calling the major networks demanding fair treatment in Rush coverage?
Were YOU calling on advertisers to boycott MSNBC over such obviously faked propaganda like this 23... oops... 30 Year old “Co-ed”?
They beat us, time and time again, because WE DO NOT ORGANIZE, and always expect “Someone else!” to do it for us, then lament the inevitable result, later.

I agree. Rush had to make a move here that would allow him to survive AND remain on the air...we need all the conservative radio warriors we can get, warts and all.
The enemy is well funded and well organized. They've been planning for this day for some time. We the People must continue to support all our conservative warriors. Let's stop talking about non-essentials. We must do what we must to remain active and effective in this fight.

Well....let’s put it this way. By issuing that apology, he didn’t give the leftists what they wanted and have been wanting all along....ie his firing or resignation.
He outwitted them...yet again, while proving that he had enough class to apologize. Lefties NEVER apologize for their comments.
I think it’s great. They have no leg to stand on now re: screeching for Rush to be off the air.

I don't have any relations with the media and I know damn well what would embarass me and what doesn't. Obiviously the remarks of someone you never met could embarass you, so you don't know the difference.....Sad that you give others the power over you to embarass you or hurt your little feelings.. I give no one that kind of power over how I feel or what I think.
I see something else coming out of this. Rush will somehow turn this into a bigger deal and we’ll all be laughing about this in a week.
He could have clearly made the point without it, and should have done so.
In fact, the very important point he was making was far less effective because of his unfortunate language.

Now he'll go on Monday morning and try to talk his way out of it.
