"See below what I received from FNC Carl Cameron! This is really wild! More possible Florida election problems?"

Tampa, FL — Florida’s primary might not be over just yet.

The Newt Gingrich campaign is gearing up to challenge the results of the florida primary based on the Republican National Committee’s own rules which state that no contest can be winner take all prior to April 1, 2012. (See attached RNC memo.)

The Gingrich campaign plans to challenge Florida’s winner take all status & demand proportional allocation of delegates.

Fox News has learned that Thursday, a Florida Gingrich campaign official will begin the process of trying to have the RNC rules enforced so that the Sunshine State delegates are proportionately allocated.

RNC Chairman Reince Priebus warned Florida Republican Party Chairman Lenny Curry of the violation in a December letter quoting the rule, “…’winner-take-all’ states cannot hold a primary or caucus before April 1, 2012.”

I’m worried about Mo. and Va. where Newt isn’t going to be on the ballot. Does anyone have comments on what the repercussions of this biff will be?

They are doing this on purpose, Newt.

Newt knows that! LOL! If you heard any of his speeches - it's about America not Mitt. Moderators kept it going with their questions on Mitt's behalf - it was way too obvious not to miss that.

Not one of my favorite tactics, changing the rules after the game starts.

It’s bad enough when the other side does this, but now we stoop to the same?

Did I give you the contact information to help Newt? Go to Newt.org. click CONTACT at the bottom of the page. The tab that looks like it’s for money is for workers. Then leave a comment with your experience.

the same way shyster lawyers are "fighters".

Mitt's the lying/deceiving lawyer. American voters will "disbar" him - sit back and watch.

I just found this. Read the whole article but the bottom two paragraphs gives the explanation:

" The ballot election in February does not count for delegates, however it does usually project who will win the state the follow month or gives momentum to a candidate needing an extra push. In March, the state holds a separate caucus which actually decides who wins Missouri’s Republican delegates for the nominating convention."

"So in reality nothing is missed because Missouri is holding a caucus in March to decide the delegates. Still, it doesn't look good in the news that Gingrich isn't on the ballot for the primary in Missouri."

Click on Link: Not on Ballot

So this is why Santorum would have adds out. Go to your Caucus and vote for NEWT.

Read what I just posted at #309.

Newt will not be on the ballot in Missouri, but they also have a caucus and that is where it counts. Read the whole link I posted there.

I don’t live there but If he’s not on the ballot how does the caucus decide who wins? Can they can write in?

"Many people are under the impression that a brokered convention is a bad thing and indicative of disunity in the party. I do not agree.

A brokered convention would be a GOOD thing. Face it, we have two candidates for the nomination who are incapable of uniting the party. And the party MUST be united to defeat the President.

Yeah, if I said Romney won 2 counties, Romney won only 1 county which gives him 2 delegates. :)

I live in Washington State. Years ago they had caucuses but I was to young to vote so I had no idea how they worked. We moved to Calif. in 61 then moved back in 79. By that time WA went to Primaries for the Republicans, but the Democrats still had caucuses and voted in the Primaries to. Recently it went to ALL mail in ballots for the Primaries. Now this year our Demon-crat Governor who spent us into debt said THERE WILL BE NO PRIMARIES because it costs to much. Now it only will be caucuses.

I had no idea when these would take place, but the other day on Fox's Greta she said it will be March 3. A few days after that I got a call from someone with the RNC inviting us to join the Lincoln Day Dinner and pay so much per plate. While I had her on the phone I asked her how come I had heard nothing about the caucuses until I heard it on Greta. She said that is the fault of the local RNC chairman and she would call them. She then told me years ago when she voted in a that only 3 people showed up and 2 people out voted the one.

When our local RNC rep called I was told that ALL 70 precincts would meet at our local middle school then each precinct would gather in a group, then each group would try to convince each other who to vote for. At a certain time everyone will vote.

I can pretty well bet that ALL the Ron Paul groupies will show up as they are the only ones who have called me. I don't know for sure how they got my name and phone number, but I believe it was when the Tea Party first came to be known and my husband and I went to hear the candidate they were indorsing to be Governor of out state. We put our name on their contact list. It didn't take me long to realize the Libertarian group had taken on the mantle of Tea Party.

Side note: This morning I heard Obama will be in the Seattle area and that the co-founders of COSTCO will be hosting a BRUNCH for $18,000 a plate. Every time I go to Costco I keep saying I am not going to go there anymore, because they keep changing where they put things and you have to walk forever. This gives me more of an incentive not to shop there. Plus they started accepting food stamps and I keep wondering did they forgo their $50 membership fee for those who are on food stamps?

Now that is quite interesting. I've read for year's here that Costco was a Conservative leaning outfit. Their battle against the state monopoly on liquor sales seemed to support that. Maybe they're hoping to get hussein to pulls some strings with the unions that have filed suit against the law taking effect.

I thought I had heard it was the other way. Walmart was Republican (by the way they gave money to Romney) and Costco was Democrat.

procedures and rule of law is what makes america great... the establishment must abide by the rules they set forth, even if they assumed they met something else...

this is a good strategy by newt and will benefit santorum and paul too... keeping the race alive... will assure romney not getting the nomination and that a better conservative will prevail...

I’m a lawyer, and I never “shyst” anyone.

That's why I didn't just say "lawyer", the "shyster" part was indicating a particular type of lawyer.

Newt will do the job we hire him to do.

The Last time voters "hired" Newt to do a job, be their Representative in the House, Newt quit shortly after being elected. Don't give me any crap that he is a "fighter", when he couldn't have everything his way, he ran out on the people who elected him. And don't think team Obama won't have a field day with that.
