I don’t live there but If he’s not on the ballot how does the caucus decide who wins? Can they can write in?

I live in Washington State. Years ago they had caucuses but I was to young to vote so I had no idea how they worked. We moved to Calif. in 61 then moved back in 79. By that time WA went to Primaries for the Republicans, but the Democrats still had caucuses and voted in the Primaries to. Recently it went to ALL mail in ballots for the Primaries. Now this year our Demon-crat Governor who spent us into debt said THERE WILL BE NO PRIMARIES because it costs to much. Now it only will be caucuses.

I had no idea when these would take place, but the other day on Fox's Greta she said it will be March 3. A few days after that I got a call from someone with the RNC inviting us to join the Lincoln Day Dinner and pay so much per plate. While I had her on the phone I asked her how come I had heard nothing about the caucuses until I heard it on Greta. She said that is the fault of the local RNC chairman and she would call them. She then told me years ago when she voted in a that only 3 people showed up and 2 people out voted the one.

When our local RNC rep called I was told that ALL 70 precincts would meet at our local middle school then each precinct would gather in a group, then each group would try to convince each other who to vote for. At a certain time everyone will vote.

I can pretty well bet that ALL the Ron Paul groupies will show up as they are the only ones who have called me. I don't know for sure how they got my name and phone number, but I believe it was when the Tea Party first came to be known and my husband and I went to hear the candidate they were indorsing to be Governor of out state. We put our name on their contact list. It didn't take me long to realize the Libertarian group had taken on the mantle of Tea Party.

Side note: This morning I heard Obama will be in the Seattle area and that the co-founders of COSTCO will be hosting a BRUNCH for $18,000 a plate. Every time I go to Costco I keep saying I am not going to go there anymore, because they keep changing where they put things and you have to walk forever. This gives me more of an incentive not to shop there. Plus they started accepting food stamps and I keep wondering did they forgo their $50 membership fee for those who are on food stamps?
