I thought Rick was in MO earlier this week w/ads against Newt. Not true? Let me know if you find out differently. Thanks.

I just found this. Read the whole article but the bottom two paragraphs gives the explanation:

" The ballot election in February does not count for delegates, however it does usually project who will win the state the follow month or gives momentum to a candidate needing an extra push. In March, the state holds a separate caucus which actually decides who wins Missouri’s Republican delegates for the nominating convention."

"So in reality nothing is missed because Missouri is holding a caucus in March to decide the delegates. Still, it doesn't look good in the news that Gingrich isn't on the ballot for the primary in Missouri."
