You have my sympathies. Do you teach lower level, upper or grad level courses?
I taught Univ (Ancient and Medieval History) lower division in CA for one year, found out I hated it.

I'm figuring Taiwanese Cheese-Eating Mooses. Naw.
The Taiwanese meeses eat stinky dofu in waterfalls, not showers . . . in a curious brotherhood bonding ceremony--not with their sisters . . .
with a bevy of aboriginal Taiwanese maidens dancing around them singing spritely songs and beating small hand-held drums.
And their beepers don't get stunned nor soaked because of advanced MIT (Made In Taiwan) technology.
And on every transit the maidens make of the circle, one of the brother meeses presses a button on his unstunned beeper and he and his maiden of choice are instantly teleported to Taiwan's Garden Isle for a week of . . . uhhh . . . sightseeing.
. . .
Welllllllll . . . it might be so . . . if Taiwan had meeses.
