At least that part of the game was satisfying...
Ditto... Ray Lewis and Ben Roethlisberger lost during the playoffs...that’s all the satisfaction I need.
Wow. Looks like Suggs found God after all.
I hate it when the guys who played 60 plays and couldnt get it done blame the guy who screwed up on 1 if his 6 or 7 times in the game.
I think the amount of separation your line got on stretch runs, and the tackling on 3rd downs were what put you over. No one can run on the Ravens, but I saw multiple 5+ yd runs. And the LB’s really tackled well on passes.
I dont think NY or SF’s Safeties will be able to do what Baltimore did against Brady’s deep passes.
More likely Stanford....
Its the stupid “make a football move” rule. If you catch and get both feet down, you have to establish that you control the ball before going out or dropping it. If he had turned his body, stepped out, or just taken another step it would be a TD. Too subjective of a rule.
As for Brady, there was no question as to whether he had possession going into the EZ, and the nose just needs to cross the plane.
"Boise 35, TCU 36. In Idaho. A stunner, for sure, and not just because TCU won it with a minute left when Gary Patterson elected to go for a 2-point conversion after pulling within 35-34. Then Boise State drove down the field aided by a terrible pass interference call on 4th down only to have their kicker shank a field goal wide right from 38 yards out."
"[UPDATE: It has been pointed out that Kellen Moore, the terrific Boise State QB, has lost three games in his career ... by a total of five points. In those three losses, Broncos' kickers have missed five field goals.]"
"Last year, Boise was on track to possibly play its way into the National title game
when its kicker bricked a chip-shot field goal against Nevada that would have won the game in regulation. Said kicker then missed again in overtime."
I was rooting hard against Baltimore because of their whining and nasty comments about Tim Tebow.
I’m not saying there was divine intervention here, but it was sure a satisfying outcome!
Yup’ you won...congrats....DAMN....I thought with a low score and a close game, the Ravens would prevail...double damn...BTW, the first pro football game I saw in person was the Boston Patriots VS the NY Titans in ‘61 ....I think at Boston College field in Chestnut Hill...I know they played some at Fenway, but I think we drove aways from S. Weymout to get there....memories of a 6 year old.
Why not? Those couch potato fans are the reason why someone like Cundiff can earn millions of dollars for kicking a ball. NFL players get paid well enough to handle any criticism that comes their way for poor performance.
I saw that, and I thought that was a TD. He had possession, two steps, then the strip. How is that not a TD? Not that I had a dog in this, but I thought the Ravens should have won right there.
From your lips to the Big Guys ears, Sam.

“A classy, professional organization.”
HA HA! Thanks for the laugh tonight!
Whatifsports.com called it, too. They had it Pats over Ravens, 23-22!
