Ann Coulter Throws a Temper Tantrum (BARF ALERT)
Fox News | 01/22/2012 | Me

Posted on 01/22/2012 6:45:03 AM PST by stratboy

Ann Coulter was just on Fox and Friends. She was crying over the fact that Romney got decimated in South Carolina. She offered a few talking points from the Romney camp including:

1. Newt is the lease conservative of all Candidates running. 2. Newt is unelectable because of his failed marriages. 3. The Freddy Mac non-issue. 4. John K asked a legitimate question and he is a completely fair and honorable reporter. 5. South Carolina is going back to it democratic roots and backing someone who calls Obama a socialist.

She laid out the establishment talking point that everyone who voted for McCain, will vote for Romney, that we need to get the independents.

Wow, that’s quite a stretch. You must get some good overtime pay from your handlers for such creativity. I don’t think they are gettin’ their money’s worth though.

First of all, at least get your terms right, it is tattle tale, not "tail"

I know that! I was making a statement by using "tail."

and it isn't "tattling" when an obvious troll is seen and brought to the attention of the mods, there are hundreds of thousands of FReepers, and the number of mods available at any given time are by my estimate, less than a dozen. Do the math.

Thank you for the lecture! Did anybody ask for your assistance?...or did you just assume they needed it?

It's no surprise that you would defend a "tattle-tail"!

Again, do everybody a favor and mind your own business. Few people like tattle-tails and busy-bodies!

I'd suggest you three govern yourselves accordingly.

I believe I was clear, and I think you Know what I was saying and I’m beginning to resent your demanding I use terminology approved by you. Are you the official in charge of terminology and definitions and if so are you going to have me zotted?

The consensus arrived at during the 2,400+ post live thread was that Hume's comments bordered on anger at Newt for supposedly outing Brit's son as gay thereby causing him to commit suicide. Considering that Newt has a gay sister, it was also felt that if anyone outed Hume's son, it was Dick Armey who likely could have become speaker if Newt was blamed for the outing and subsequent death.

All speculation of course except the Hume's extreme bitterness last night after Newt's win was commented on by many during the live thread.

Pinetop was a Freeper for thirteen years, but now he's a troll for opposing Newt.

Ann Coulter was a hero here for years. Now she's the object ugly ad hominems because she opposes Newt.

I don't think Newt can attract Reagan Democrats, independents, young people, or women. I want to Republicans to win. I guess that makes me a horrible person, too.

Newt didn’t sit back and take it, he took it to the lib. And then he took it to them again. I was jumping up and down.

I felt just the same way. It was very satisfying to watch.

But will that approach win over anyone outside of the committed right? I don't think it will.

The conventional wisdom said the same thing about Reagan...

Exact same stuff.

Have faith in the American people to vote for a conservative over a leftist radical.

The reason the RINO establishment is going nuts is:

1. They thought they dispatched Newt long ago, and the lesson was imprinted on the GOP members of Congress.

2. They kept Sarah Palin out, and thought she was the last vestige of the Tea Party kerfluffle.

Or so they thought.

You simply can't call everybody you disagree with, or who disagree with you on something a RINO.

Communication is simply not facilitated when that is done.

Call 'em Commies, or Zipper Heads, or whatever ~ something that means something.

Think of it this way, Newt is the inevitable nominee.

I think he can deal with most of the issues pretty well now. When this campaign first started he hadn't brushed up on "current events" very well and sounded very dated ~ we had some people here convinced he'd turned into some kinda' commie or something due to his ineptitude with current Conservative thought on various policies.

Remember, not everything that's important is always on the agenda. Not everything on the agenda is important. That's true in a lot of things and for all practical purposes Newt had been too focused on the inconsequentals that earn the big bucks ~ he missed out on our transition from the Culture War to Fiscal Responsibility and Fighting Communism (what the battle against Obama and his running dog lackeys would have been called in Eisenhower's day).

I remember when he tried to say something about Illegal Aliens ~ back when he left off politics as a full time occupation they were talking about the "need" to give them driver's licenses. He simply wasn't prepared for the demand to SEND THEM BACK HOME.

He's changed since then but he still seems hung up on the "Dream Plan" ~ which is garbage no matter how you spell it.

I think we can get across to him that the "Dream Plan" is not as good as just giving them a drivable but older car and a full tank of gas and telling them how I35 goes toward the boarder "so get there".

To the question of whether or not Gingrich can win, I've noticed he has a great deal of practice talking to young people.

Obama hasn't ~ at least not in any give and take way. He's what you call a "lecturer". Newt is a "professor" and he is prepared for class.

We have 26 million unemployed young people who need jobs and a future. That's what this campaign is about ~ peeling off that faction in all of its many manifestations from the Democrat coalition ~ and getting them out to vote Republican for every single position up for election this year.

The only way we can save them is to literally dispose of the Democrat party!

I don’t call everyone I disagree with a RINO, only RINOs and don’t often resort to calling them that, by nature I’m not a name caller and don’t usually resort to it but at times it appeals to me to call someone a name but not as a personal attack and the name communist means something else to me, I don’t think Rinos are there yet, and I would have no idea of what a “Zipper Head” might be and don’t think I would use it even if I knew, it sounds “dorky”. Are you the definition monitor and are you going to have me zotted? I’m really into “SAVE AMERICA” conservation instead of being corrected by someone I don’t know who perceives themselves to be some kind of “hall monitor”

Frankly I wasn't aware that there were people outside the printing crafts and homosexual circles who understood the existence of the fag-hags.

(Note: lots of gays in printing due to its proximity to the "arts")

Thank you for your well-reasoned and thoughtful defense of Newt.

I want to do it justice and reply in detail when I have more time, but I very much appreciate not being called a bot or a troll or someone needing a sandwich (which, if you saw me, I obviously don't!).

You make a good point. Reagan was vilified for his supposed personality flaws as is Newt. He was supposed to be a rigid warmonger with his finger twitching over the button.

But the Gipper won precisely because he was upbeat, forward looking, and promoting a positive vision of restoring America's greatness. The media wouldn't admit it, but he was sunny and genial.

Newt is touchy, hot-headed, harsh, and negative. Not all the time, but often. I'm not getting this from the media, but from my own observation. I don't think that sells with most people. Obama, though a phony, comes off as upbeat, at least he did the last time. I think that's why he won.

If Newt is the nominee I'll vote for him, but I don't think he can carry folks outside of the right.
