Given the abundance of options at the network, it's saying something to name Martin Bashir as the most noisome of MSNBC hosts. But so he is, in my book.
Witness the low stunt Bashir pulled to open his show today, on the afternoon of the South Carolina primary. Bashir superimposed photos of the Republican candidates in front of a Confederate flag image. Lest their be any doubt as to the message Bashir meant to send, the screen graphic read "Rebel Yell." Oh those racist Republicans.

Your list is selectively editted. You fail to include Strom Thurmond, Jesse Helms and a former Democrat who launched his successful GOP primary bid with a “southern strategy” in Philadelphia, Mississippi, Ronald Reagan.
I, for one, am proud of my southern heritage
“Thanks. I agree that they have mostly died off, but conservatism had always been a southern staple even when it had a D by its name.”
Elvis, I was just going to tell you that you know it and I know it, and that any historian knows it as well (especially the Left which has always hated the South), but that there is now a noisy little band of South-bashers within the GOP dedicated to chirping their version of ignorance, the facts be damned.
We sure didn’t have to wait long for that to be demonstrated, lol.
True. I think South bashing is a favorite of the country club set who try to portray southerners as stupid, racist, rubes but when it’s time to court our votes, they’re drinving around in over-alls behind the wheel of a (rented) pickup truck.
Learn it.
“Democrats suck. Democrats have always sucked.
Learn it.”
