The Post & Email has just learned that Lt. Col. Stefan Cook, about whose illness we reported yesterday, has passed away at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa, FL at approximately 2:30 p.m. today of pancreatic cancer.
Cook, then a Major in the U.S. Army Reserves, had challenged Obamas constitutional eligibility to serve as president in July 2009 through Atty. Orly Taitz. After Taitz filed the lawsuit in Georgia, Cooks orders to deploy to Afghanistan were rescinded by the Army, a move which Taitz had hailed as a victory.
At the time the lawsuit was filed, Maj. Cook had expressed his concern that he might be carrying out illegal orders in the event that Obama was not constitutionally qualified to issue them. He had told WorldNetDaily, [Then] any order coming out of the presidency or his chain of command is illegal. Should I deploy, I would essentially be following an illegal [order]. If I happened to be captured by the enemy in a foreign land, I would not be privy to the Geneva Convention protections.

His courage and leadership in standing up for the constitution and serving our nation in the military is appreciated. He was a brave and honorable man.
What a patriot RoadDog was. What a great man. RIP Stefan Cook, and condolences to his family.
Prayers for an American patriot.
Matt 18:20
Some of our hopes die along with you, Major Cook. May you rest in the Lord’s arms.
You were a man of your word and a patriot. May God bless you. And may God give strength to your family to deal with the pain of their loss.
So sorry to hear of the passing of Lt. Col. Cook. My prayers continue for his daughter and family. May he rest in the peace and love of our Lord. God bless.
The Lord giveth and the Lord hath taken away. Blessed be the Name of the Lord. And blessed are they who morn for they shall be comforted.
O God our Father, cover our FRiend and his family with the pinions of your wings that they might know your presence and feel the sweet comfort of your spirit with them in this hour and in the hours and days to come. Give to them all they need in every area and let them know how much we love them and are praying for them right now.
In your Mercy, receive the soul of our departed brother into your paradise with all the saints who have gone before, and where there are no more tears and no more sadness, where there is no more sighing and no more pain, only the blessed light of your countenance and the sound of your voice saying, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your reward.” In Jesus’ Name. AMEN.
May God bless Lt. Col. Cook’s family with His peace that only He can give.
In Jesus’ Holy Name.
Amen.
Always the soft spoken, yet strong individual. Fought the good fight, challenging Obama, and won. Will miss you, Stephan! Bless you WARRIOR PATRIOT! RIP in God’s arms...
But the souls of the just are in the hand of God,
and the torment of death shall not touch them.
In the sight of the unwise they seemed to die:
and their departure was taken for misery:
And their going away from us, for utter destruction:
but they are in peace.
And though in the sight of men they suffered torments,
their hope is full of immortality.
Afflicted in few things, in many they shall be well rewarded:
because God hath tried them, and found them worthy of himself.
As gold in the furnace he hath proved them,
and as a victim of a holocaust he hath received them,
and in time there shall be respect had to them.
The just shall shine,
and shall run to and fro like sparks among the reeds.
They shall judge nations, and rule over people,
and their Lord shall reign for ever.
They that trust in him, shall understand the truth:
and they that are faithful in love shall rest in him:
for grace and peace is to his elect.

A warrior, hero, and friend. Godspeed Lt. Col. Stefan Cook.
A good man and a terrible disease.
We have a friend who came close re this diagnosis.
If more of his peers had taken his brave actions re the pretender in the White House, our sad reality might be different re the damage done by the pretender in the White House.
Sad. RIP, Stefan.
RIP.
Prayers for his family. So sad - he was a good man!
