ROMNEY: 37%
PAUL: 26%
HUNTSMAN: 21%
GINGRICH: 11%
PERRY: 9%
BACHMAN: 0%
SANTORUM: 0%
Newt is getting squeezed out, that’s the problem.
The libertarians have Paul. The moderates have Romney. The Conservatives have Santorum.
Newt draws from all the buckets, but the only folks voting for him are those over 65. That’s it.
That’s the only demographic where he really stands out from the crowd. This is why I’ve been pushing for us to get behind Santorum and consolidate the conservative vote against Romney. Santorum consistantly draws from Conservatives moreso than Newt.
Paul doing so well is alarming!!!!!!!!!!! what is in the drinking water in NH? must be imported from Iowa. I wish those two states were not first in the gop primarys. Would prefer two bright red states and would prefer that Paul run as a Libertarian and get OUT of the gop
For some reason the magical number for me would be 37%, he ain't their... Was that McCains number or someone elses? I can't understand where it comes from but..
More importantly, 65% voted for a Non-Romney...
This is what drudge has in red
HISTORIC: ROMNEY WINS IA, NH IN OPENING SWEEP... DEVELOPING...
Romney lied about creating 1000’s of jobs.
Newt is exposing that lie and Conservatives are thankful that Newt is exposing the LIAR.
And now a public service message:
FUMR!!!
Excellent! Could make South Carolina REAL interesting...
Mitt supporters not welcome here.
Santorum is from up North too but he loves Jesus and was never for abortion, homosex or taking away our guns—so he is alright.
If Perry comes in last..he should drop out before SC and unite behind Newt
Looks like mitt pulling ahead
Scary thought. Should listen to Mark Levin's anti-Paul rant this evening, pulled out all the stops calling him racist, anti-Semitic, a failed Congressman, etc. and a pretend conservative.
Please pass out the 30 gal size barf bags
Please pass out the 30 gal size barf bags
Cain said he will endorse someone before the SC primary..as far as Palin goes, I doubt she endorses anyone. She is just sitting back and watching this trainwreck. Remember how some people in the GOP were saying that if Palin got the nomination Obama would win in a landslide, well, apparently they have NO problem rooting for McCain-lite in Romney. That idiot Carl Cameron already took a shot at Palin today after they said that Romney had won by saying something about her bus tour in NH and how Romney won the area she was touring..you know that Fox News has been kissing Romney’s butt since day 1, must have pissed them off when Palin spoke the TRUTH about the media and the Dems wanting Romney to be the nominee, for God’s sake Dems voted for Romney tonight
Are you being sarcastic (with that pro-Romney comment here on FR)? Or actually being serious?? Just WOW
28.2%
Mitt Romney 18,882 36.2%
Ron Paul 12,706 24.3%
Jon Huntsman 8,698 16.7%
Newt Gingrich 5,371 10.3%
Rick Santorum 5,284 10.1%
Others 645 1.2%
Rick Perry 399 0.8%
Ron Paul reminds me of the geek projector boy with the pocket protector and tape on his glasses in school...and now he is top dog (in his eyes) and you can damn near hear him saying to himself “Oh goody goody goody, Im important!”
(rapidly passing barf bags to the FReepers that read this ;-) LOL
In all honesty, the voting is so hosed up with allowing non residents and “democrats” to vote and no ID requirement...Im surprised we have not voted in Boris Badanoff! (wait, we did....in 2008)
CBS TV News Break
65% of today’s voters in NH still wish there was someone else, other than those currently on the ballot, that they could vote for.
[By 2-1, voters do not link the field of candidates. Someone needs to take that to heart. Is there still time for a dark horse who can save the party? Save the Nation?]
I thought the jury was still out on who won Iowa?
