ROMNEY: 37%
PAUL: 26%
HUNTSMAN: 21%
GINGRICH: 11%
PERRY: 9%
BACHMAN: 0%
SANTORUM: 0%
We all knew that NH was liberal, and yet we all have a collective meltdown when an lib and a nutbar are winning.
Chin up people. SC and FL are the states that matter here.
In 2004 W was running unopposed so I “crossed over” to vote for Lieberman in the SC Dem primary.
He was the most conservative liberal.
22% reporting
Romney, Mitt GOP 14,554 35%
Paul, Ron GOP 10,226 25%
Huntsman, Jon GOP 6,962 17%
Gingrich, Newt GOP 4,231 10%
Santorum, Rick GOP 4,148 10%
Perry, Rick GOP 277 1%
Yep, Santorum scored big with the ‘most conservative voters’. He’s winning among everyone who calls himself a conservative.
But most of the voters here are ‘moderates’, and guess who is just killing there. ;)
Newt is 4th - behind Santorum, Romney and Paul. Newt is pulling better among the moderates and liberals.
Why would anyone say this? What is Romney afraid of?
Did a Romney surrogate really just ask a CNN journalist to assist in keeping Newt out of a debate? Isn't that anti what this nation is all about?
That is DISGUSTING. ROMNEY, the scared little punk is disgusting and needs a 72 year old man, John Sununu, to whine to CNN to keep Newt off the stage, because Newt is the only one brave and articulate enough to expose Romney's Liberalism?
We need a youtube video of the mess that is known as John Sununu and Romney. Threatening the media to keep Newt out of debates.
If a CONSERVATIVE unseats Mitt Romney in South Carolina and takes the lead, watch for the MSM to dismiss it (the state of SC, its primary, its voters and what not), or to downplay it, while if Romney wins SC the chorus that he is "unstoppable for the nomination now" will be deafening.
It is just two narratives the American Government-Media Establishment (MSM) choose from and put in as their template of commentary, depending on whether a RINO or a Conservative wins the state. They will use and switch accordingly.
Wow, Mitt has really stepped it up a few hundred notches with this speech. We’re looking at the next president! Loving it!! GO MITT!!!
Fourth or fifth is a distinction without a difference when it is by only a hundred votes or so. It’s obviously a tie between the two and both are on the block to do well in SC. I think Newt is probably done after the Bain deal, Romney hit him hard on it in his victory speech saying that Newt was using the “politics of envy.”
Did you forget the sarcasm note?
25 percent in!
Romney 35
Paul 25
Huntsman 17
Gingrich 10
Santorum 10
Santorum just 15 votes behind Newt.

You’re welcome.
I got the bottom part closeness between Gingrich and Santorum right and Perry pretty close. Huntsman was up at 18%
This Ron Paul 25% BS is alarming. The only plus side, Romney is below McCain’s 2008 levels. How the media spins this as a victory is amazing.
Yeah, I’m a bit baffled at everyone’s shock, the results are very close to recent polling.
The only difference between the results so far and the polling is Paul’s extra 5% or so, likely the result of unusually high unaffiliated turnout (which may have been hard to predict or model in polling; of course, every time a poll DOES include anyone other than registered Republicans, FR has a cow over it.)
No, no, no. These states have reduced delegates due to early voting penalties, so that combined they make up about 5% of the total (and they are NOT winner take all. A SuperTuesday state like Tennessee has MORE delegates than FLORIDA. Georgia has more than Florida, Iowa and New Hampshire combined. The structure has changed also because there is more proportional voting in many of the states.
I am going to caucus for the RNC Tampa Convention here in Colorado on Feb 7th for a Triple Option Delegate slot, a Gingrich/Santorum/Brokered delegate. I will be willing to bargain between these 3 outcomes depending on relative strength that emerges.
This is an ANTI Romney website. Thankfully, Romney supporters get banned pretty quickly around here. In case you haven't read the owner's words:
Welcome to Free Republic, America's exclusive site for God, Family, Country, Life & Liberty conservatives!
ObamaCare = RomneyCare = CommieCare. NO Romney! NO WAY!!
Are you really cheering for Mittens here or did you forget the /sarc tag?
Paul could actually become the kingmaker at the convention, perish the thought.
