Those that can, do. Those that can’t, teach. Those that can’t teach send you wordy emails that noone else has the time or interest to read.
It shows. For one thing, the economic malfeasance he's trying to blame on a Republican Congress took place under the Democrats, whose forty years of spending control trump anything the Republicans could even be accused of in four. For another, the Great Bush Recession took place under 0bama, under policies condemned by 0bama and promptly continued, under spending practices that 0bama managed to quadruple in a mere 90 days. And for a third, anyone who does not know the difference between "cretin" and "Cretan" has no claim to education past the grade-school level.
This is not a bright individual. This is a marginally literate poseur blind to ignorance and proud of being able to spout a great cloud of cliche-ridden gas to cover up for it.
like Cheney's Halliburton & it's many, amazingly profitable subsidiaries, like the Blackwater Christian mercenaries, Inc.) + more millions using U. S. troops as Christian Crusaders trying to convert Muslims in Muslim countries to Xtianity
I can readily believe the Occupy movement's complaint that it's very hard for liberal arts college grads to find jobs--if this is an example of what current PhDs write like.
Notes to the emailer:
First, solstice festivals are also religious holidays.
Second, sir (pardon me for assuming you are such), what you describe as an excellent party, I consider a tedious foretaste of Hell, and probably would even were I not a Christian. Suffice it to say that if a friend of mine dragooned me into attending a party where the revelry broke off at 10 PM on a Friday for a dreadfully earnest half-hour discussion of the atheist take on the origins of the Christmas holiday, I would tell said friend I wanted that time back. No, that’s not right. I’d keep drinking and either start having it out with those pompous prats, or start singing carols. Or maybe both. And understand that when I say “carols”, I mean “Little Drummer Boy/Peace On Earth” is about as secular as my set list would be likely to get that evening.
And third, a note to you: The writer is candid about what he thinks. But speaking the truth about what one thinks is not precisely the same as speaking the truth, period.
Note the excessive use of ad hominem in lieu of argument; and the supercilious fatuity with which the writer assumes that using polysyllabic language to describe something someone confers truth on one's ravings.
Check the posting history. Do I smell Purina, or ozone?
SNIFF.
Cheers!

Just another bag of burning poop from a lib.
>> Apologies in advance for any that are offended by the truth of this email.
You’re apologizing for the FReepers that are offended by the existence of this email? Of course, that’s not what you meant, but doubtlessly less idiotic then the premise FReepers are offended by ‘truths’.
Ever wonder why these screeds are da*ned WORDY?? sheesh. The arrogant author thinks he’s being cute with his coy little abbreviations and euphemisms. I have a galvanized washtub that is too small to hold all the barf.
When I was in college, I used to think professors like this and their minions were tiresome bores.
As I got older, I started to realize how garden-hoe stupid they are.
But, now that I’m older still, I have to admire their ability to at once fleece their universities, their fellow citizens (via government grants) and their students. These people pull down great salaries, incredible benefits and often enjoy great respect (well, lately it’s mostly within their own minds and their eco chamber of like-minded edu-parrots) while simultaneously deriding and/or destroying all that makes it possible, and yet we still keep sending our children to be “educated” by these babbling boobs.
But who’s the bigger fool here? This professor, or we, who feed, clothe, and support him for life, and then continue to send our children to be brainwashed by him and his ilk?
This proves the saying, When people cease to believe in God, they don’t believe in nothing; they believe in anything.
- G. K. Chesterton
Goldman Sachs makes out like a bandit no matter who is in the Whitehouse or Congress. Plenty of officials from each party hailed from Goldman Sachs.
Each party has their recipients of largess taken from the labor of people who work in this country. Some companies grow through better products, more efficiency, and meeting their consumer's expectation - others grow with dependence on Government handouts.
The real truth is that there has not been a real reduction in the national debt since 1957 no matter which party had the Whitehouse or the Congress.
Explain to me how the so called Clinton “surplus” was so wonderful that the national debt increased every single year from 4.064 trillion on 9/30/1992 to 5.674 trillion on 9/30/2000? P.S. the habit of Congress to change the social security funds from on budget to off budget has a direct impact on whether there is a surplus or not.
During the GWB years, the debt increased an average of .525 trillion per year. Explain to me what is so wonderful under Obama and his democratic congress that allowed the national debt to increase by 1.65 trillion in the first year of his term in office? Three times the rate of the former occupant. And sure to be even worse as the cost of Obama care and baby boomers medicare hits the books. No matter, the president can always shift blame to Congress even though he had majorities in both houses it must have been the fault of those rascally RepubliCONS.
The majority of the people in this country are sick and tired of living according to the dictates of the 30% who wield the power of the governing class. We are at a point where the tentacles of Government so permeate every aspect of life and so many have become dependent on Government, that to continue down this path means bondage.
What is needed is George Washington and honest politicians (an oxymoron though there may be a few) to restore this Republic to it's founding principles. That is not Obama who admits to an intrigue with Marxism, and sadly none of the current Republican candidates.
However, most important is informed, and ever vigilant citizens who will take back their freedoms from the monstrosity that our Government has become, so quit looking for the perfect leader, and roll up your sleeves. If the citizens fail, the Republic falls, and you might as well rename us the New United Socialist People's Republic of Amerika.
Every citizen who dislikes the direction this country is headed needs to start right now, with your friends neighbors, local and state governments, schools. Do whatever you can to help your community and neighborhood .
Watch your state officials, demand that they quit assisting Washington's efforts to make them irrelevant. Run for precinct chairman of your party if you can, and take them over neighborhood by neighborhood.
All that is needed for this evil to persist is for good and honest people to say nothing and do nothing. "A man dies when he fails to stand up for what is right" and so does the Republic.
This "friend" is a boor and a bore, anf I wonder why you'd associate with such a useless, condescending tw@t.
Deserving of a ZOT.
This post is absolutely idiotic and this professor is what we call an’egghead’; what a warped, twisted view of the world events; no wonder the left is so devoid of truth and continues to refuse to have any clarity. The left will follow satan because they beleive what he tells them and they do not understand or call evil for what it really is..this post shows how evil twists the thinking of those who are vulnerable.
It’s reassuring in a way that they are as nutty as I imagine they are — and then some. Indeed, my imagination can’t keep up with their nuttiness. They rationalize away any and everything that might interfere with their delusions, which are simply off the charts in terms of denying the truth and reality.
I am not sure what bothers me more— the incompetence and falsehoods of the email or the inabiltiy to answer the arguments in this thread. This is a clear byproduct of the sell out of George W. Bush by faux conservatives. Here are the rebuttals:
1. Democrats exclusively caused the economic crisis and economic crisis. At the height of Bush and Republican power in January 2007, here is the economic status of the USA: 1) unemployment was 4.7 percent, 2) the US took in a record high $2.5 trillion 3) the deficit had declined to $160 Billion from a high of $420 billion.
2. Democrats took over complete control of Congress in January of 2007. This includes Senator Obama. Both legislative chambers were taken from Republican control to Democratic control. Want ensued was the worst economic collapse since the Depression. The purchased deregulation of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in the candidacies of Senators Obama and Dodd alongside the new congressional regulatory chair for Housing— Barney Frank— unleashed the housing bubble and collapse. The Congress reversed more than 8 specific warnings from the Bush White House urging more regulation of the GSEs— not less.
3. By 2009, the annual deficit had swelled to more than $1.4 trillion nearly 10 times the annual deficit in 2007. The government takes in almost half a trillion dollars less annually than what was taken in during the 2006 and 2007 budgets of the Republicans.
4. The same reality can be observed during the Clinton surplus. When Republicans took control of the Congressional chabers in the mid 1990s, they performed a reverse fiscal hemorrage to what we see now. Republican congresses consistently control fiscal madness and democrats empirically unleash fiscal madness.
5. Democrats like to play the ‘too big to fail’ game on the private sector regarding banking and other major corporations. The truly ‘too big to fail’ corporation that is destroying America is the USFG. There is no larger corporation in the world than the USFG. The GSEs of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were the largest holders of mortages in the world. The democratic guarantee to finance all mortages at any risk level guaranteed a collapse of the market that would consume $6 trillion of middle class wealth.
Blaming Republicans is like blaming the police for crime. Just because they show up to fix the problem does not mean they are the cause.
The truth is you are a troll using a sleeper account. Oh and you smell.
