Americans For Truth About Homosexuality
November 10, 2011; Contact: Peter LaBarbera: americansfortruth@gmail.com
CHICAGOThe discovery that former Penn State University defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky has been molesting boys as young as 10 years old and that university officials including head coach Joe Paterno did not do more to apprehend this predator has shocked America. Peter LaBarbera, president of Americans For Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH), said the scandal exposes the continuing problem of homosexual predators in society. He offers the following observations related to the PSU scandal:

Exactly.
Guy lives in a weird world where it’s okay to be religious, but not devout. Sounds like a crazy homo to me. Not many straight guys brag about their many homosexual friends.
It’s a “works based” belief system - that somehow, being a “good person” will “win” your salvation. It’s a damning belief, but one that many cling to, not willing to believe that they are sinners in the eyes of God with only One Way to salvation.
I agree. I guess it is okay to be religious in the sense that you sort of know God and sort of understand right from wrong but devout is you actually do know God and know right from wrong. Seems to me Joen likes to think of religion as a menu... you can pick and choose. Sheesh!
She pretty much covered all the bases for deserving a ZOT. And it didn’t take Jim long. What a self-destructive post that was. She could have kept it real short by simply saying “Just gimme the ZOT and be done with it”.
The Bible was written by blessed people.
You are nothing but a creepy weirdo.
Never again confuse the difference.
Your second paragraph was all about God, yet the third throws scripture away (comparison with J.K. Rowling, fallible humans, stories, fables, tales, God or Jesus had no direct input). Were you there?
In the fifth paragraph you cite the golden rule and the Ten Commandments, though not primarily Christian concepts.
Which god are you serving and how did you get to know him?
See yuh Tard.
Thank you VERY much.
Here’s another:

Compared to the other problems the nation faces right now, I dont give a crap about the gay issue.
We need a candidate who can address those little things like jobs and energy and government bloat. If you dont like homosexuals, dont form a civil union with one.

That’s a pretty one.
:-)
Again, common sense and basic understanding for cause and effect are all that is required to have a fundamental understanding of this issue.
Common sense: Homosexuality is a behavior.
Cause and effect: Young boys are abused by older men who were abused as young boys.
But as with all liberal causes we are told to deny logic and reason and accept a more “nuanced” explanation
I see that connection between molestation and the victim growing up gay but I also think for other gays that were not molested, there is some kind of dysfunctional relationship between the mother/father and child. The mothers of these gay men are totally dominate in the marriage, sometimes violent and the father is often weak.
I knew it would get straightened out!
It’s a common enough fallacy, but not one to which a true Christian is susceptible.
I agree. I've seen dysfunctional marriages where the father is weak or the lack of a father in the child's relationship in many gay people I know.
Go to your library or buy Architects of the Culture of Death.
It will open your eyes on those who push homosexuality and other movements.
Go here and scroll down to comments for a preview. Start with the ‘great’ sex researcher Alfred Kinsey:

If you get this book you’ll see certain similar threads, causes in their upbringing.
It’s a must read.
For so long... what have we heard? Children need one parent, not two. Boys can be raised by a Mother and do just fine. You’ve heard it, I’ve heard it... we all heard it. Children need their Daddy’s as much as their Moms. It just saddens me that we have reached a point in society where two parents (A Mom and Dad) are unusual rather than the norm. If this is what we are dealing with now... can you imagine what twenty years from now will look like? It scares me to death.
Satan is an extreme narcissist and homosexuality is a branch from that narcissistic tree.
And look at how society is redefining parents... There are women who pretend to be men, having babies, Elton John and his partner have a pet baby boy who is nothing more than a fashion accessory, polygamy is celebrated on TLC....
You are right and I weep for the future generations.
