Nebraska 17, Penn State 14; Crowd Chants "We love JoePa."

A last-ditch drive ends in disappointment for Penn State, which loses to Nebraska, 17-14. Not having any timeouts crippled the offense, which completed two passes short of a first down, including one with seconds left, but couldn't stop the clock.

This is a different Saturday in State College. Immediately after McGloin's final pass fell incomplete, the Penn State crowd cheered the team's effort: the cheering grew to a roar as the two teams again met a midfield, such as they did right before the game.

Again, as occurred several times during the game, there were chants of "We love JoePa." Interviewed after the game, interim coach Tom Bradley said that what Penn State has gone through over the last week is "unprecedented in the history of college sports."

I really wish people would stop saying that everybody knew. There is zero evidence for this. Joe Paterno was informed of an incident involving an unknown victim and an ex-employee, which he reported to his superior and the head of campus police. He put the witness in touch with them. Those are the facts as we know them and as they were presented to the grand jury.

I'm not ignoring it. I've made comments in years past that the pedophile disease in the Roman Catholic church was not the fruit of their celibacy policy for their priests, but was due to the fact that a large swatch of homosexuals had infiltrated their ranks (perhaps finding a home for 'easy pickings'). The problem wasn't with this aspect of the Roman priesthood, it was with their management of the problem and lack of disciplinary actions. Maybe they were blindsided (who could have suspected the massive infiltration of homosexual deviants?), but they failed in their response to the attack.

Likewise, I agree with you here regarding the Penn State fiasco, that the issue is homosexual men preying on young men, or boys, to satisfy their deviant lusts.
It is written in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10:
" Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind[sodomites], Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God".

This deviancy leads to madness and more deviancy, and they eventually receive the 'recompense of their error which was meet'....
But even they have hope, for Paul closes in his admonishment and condemnation in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, with the miraculous hope that is available to the worst of sinners:

"1 Corinthians 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God"

So prayers for those harmed and damaged, but also prayers for the deviants that they get pulled out of darkness and get washed and changed.

why didn’t he follow up? why didn’t he make sure something was done? WHY DID NO ONE FIND OUT IF THE LITTLE BOY THAT THE DEFENSIVE COACH WITNESSED BEING RAPED, HAD JUSTICE?

If everyone hates Sandusky so much, how is he able to go out shopping at Dick’s this past week? Shouldn’t Sandusky be under protection?

I guess he’s not too worried about it... just like he wasn’t too worried about getting caught raping boys.

Sandusky certainly didn’t behave as someone who was afraid of getting caught. He was raping boys in the locker room shower. He took them to say overnight with him in hotels on team outings. He was actually very open in his behavior which is why he was witnessed multiple times, however, he was never stopped.

Paterno is a victim of his own ego and cowardice. He knew of Sandusky’s behavior since at least 1998, and he let the bastard go unpunished and uninhibitted in continuing his assault on the innocent. Paterno is a pos and a sorry excuse for a man.

He was a f***ing 75-year-old football coach, not an investigator and not a sheriff. It is perfectly fine to be angry at the people who could have done more to stop it. What sickens me is that people are crucifying THE ONLY PERSON WHO WENT TO THE POLICE.

I’ve been here all week, and the media coverage has been atrocious. For example their stats on the size of the riot and the vigil have no basis in reality.

Tuesday night, there was a large demonstration on Old Main against Spanier, Curley, Schultz, and Sandusky.

The Wednesday night riot was a mix of things. It was against Spanier, Sandusky, Curley, Schultz, the Board of Trustees, and the media. It was in support of Paterno remaining head coach.

There were many signs and chants against Spanier, Sandusky, Curley, Schultz, the Board, and the media.

And obviously, the media van was flipped. I’m sure that if there was an “administrators and Sandusky van” it would have also been flipped.

Uh, you missed a zero it was $100K cash bail (still low IMHO if any should have been granted).

Personally, I don’t how any of the coaching staff can remain. The last one joined the staff in 2004 so they all had to know Sandusky was a pedo. Bradley has been there since 1979.

Penn State's hero Paterno and lots of his corrupt buddies seem to not give a crap about child rape.

Now the old worm gets to spend his remaining days in well-deserved shame.

The fact that hundreds of Penn State idiots saw fit to riot over the firing of the old morals-free hypocrite tells me that the values problem at Penn State is broader than the football team management.

Pedo State. An earned nick name. Absolutely appropriate. Get used to it.
