I’ve been here all week, and the media coverage has been atrocious. For example their stats on the size of the riot and the vigil have no basis in reality.

Tuesday night, there was a large demonstration on Old Main against Spanier, Curley, Schultz, and Sandusky.

The Wednesday night riot was a mix of things. It was against Spanier, Sandusky, Curley, Schultz, the Board of Trustees, and the media. It was in support of Paterno remaining head coach.

There were many signs and chants against Spanier, Sandusky, Curley, Schultz, the Board, and the media.

And obviously, the media van was flipped. I’m sure that if there was an “administrators and Sandusky van” it would have also been flipped.

“It was in support of Paterno remaining head coach.”

And that’s the problem. He is a moral failure. He should be shunned, not lauded.

Why do you seem to excuse Paterno? From what I read he did not go to the police, he went to the Athletic Director.
