Herman Cain's support appears to be broad and deep, even in Rick Perry's home turf of Texas.
A new University of Texas/Texas Tribune poll show a statistical tie at the top between Cain and Perry, with Texan Ron Paul running 3rd:
Cain got 27 percent to Perry's 26 percent among Texas registered voters who identify themselves as Republicans. U.S. Rep. Ron Paul was next with 12 percent, followed by former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney at 9 percent and former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich at 8 percent. The other Republican primary candidates - Michele Bachmann, Jon Huntsman, Gary Johnson and Rick Santorum - each got 2 percent or less; 11 percent of the respondents answered "don't know," and another 1 percent said they would prefer "another Republican candidate."

They were asked, was there any contact? NO
Was “the gesture of a sexual nature” NO
This is total BS and you and the rest of your fellow Perrytistas will find out that this nonsense will only redound to Cains popularity.
Perry is a lying ahole, I heard his lying mouth talk about a VAT tax in Cain’s plan, Perry’s just a complete lying moron, put a fork in him.
You perrywinkles have convinced me that there is no way I’d vote for this idiot, not even against the bastard marxist in the White House, at least he’s a known quantity, Perry’s a dangerous disaster lurking out there.
LOL, spoken like a true troll. Do you not have a sense of humor? Oh wait, you must be a supporter of the man who helped give in state tuition to illegals. Never mind. You want a dose of reality...Cain is whipping your candidate of choice. Deal with it and stop being so hateful.
As long as you mean Obama, this is okay.
Right, they have identified 2 women...interesting that they won’t say who they are. And, since you are completely devoid of reason, did you listen to J. Martin discuss his piece this morning on TV? You want to talk about lying...he was squirming the whole interview. One last thing, all those around him said this was never reported and the one that was, was actually won by Cain. Now, one last question for someone as brilliant as you....why would anyone who had a legitimate complaint about harrassment settle for only 5 figures? Think...it is hard for you Perry people, but try.
There are Obama Rat trolls here on Free Republic masquerading as conservatives.
These trolls have a clear intent to bring down republican candidates who have risen in the polls. Obama Rat trolls should be identified and outted.
First with Bachman, then with Perry, now with Cain (and of course, always with Romney), the Obama Rats use a deceptively simple approach.
They camp out on a thread that seems to support a candidate, Cain for example.
They use one-liners and ad hominem insults to attack that candidate, while implying that they support another candidate, for instance, Perry. Then when one visits the Perry threads, that same poster rarely, if ever, appears. When he does, the appearance is luke warm, and mainly directed toward tearing down some other candidate. When challenged, the Obama Rat trolls avoid supporting the candidate they imply that they support.
In addition, the Obama Rats seem to use many of the same talking points, often referring to Mike Huckabee, or some other candidate from the past. They use virulent attacks on individual posters, who disagree with them, to try to drive that poster off the thread.
One need only research the history of comments from suspected Obama Rats to see the pattern.
Obviously, we each have different views on the candidates. Those differing views are worthy of debate.
However, unless a poster starts finding positive points with a candidate, any candidate, with as much vigor as he tears down other candidates, then he is just another shrill Obama Rat troll, not worthy of debate. He should be identified and outted.
I'd rather see that than American citizens robbed, raped and murdered by illegal aliens, which is the result of Perry's stupid ideas.
I think you are right, but I don’t think most of them are rats, I think they are closet Romney supporters.
Since openingly admitting supporting Romney on FR will get you zotted, they are using the tactics you say to undermine everyone but Romney.
If it had been Texas A&M, it might have been personal.
However, Texas Tribune is the arm of UT and accepted $150,000 from Soros last spring

” .....independents/non republicans may have something to say about the final outcome.”
In most states these people, rightfully have no say in the Republican Primary, which is by any definition a Party election....ie An intermural event.
Given the above is it your contension that independants/non Republicans will be voting for Obama Vrs the eventual Republican nominee?
While no election is a sure thing, I don’t buy it. I don’t see an Obama second term.....(neither do a lot of Democrat pols like Dick Durbin...spit...)
Excuse me for butting in here but please tell us who the alleged two women are that the Politico is quoting and using as a source and where we all can see the so called evidence of a payoff. I must have missed that part in their hit piece item. If you can't name them then you need to correct your attack post and say the names are not known are likely just fictional.
The Politico has a long illustrious record of publishing made up so called "news" articles and when proven wrong or to be lies further refuse to retract or apologize for their made up lies. If you are choosing to believe Politico then we all know what you are.
“......Not only are people undecided but Cain has leveled off or even dropped.”
Really????
Even in Texas, against a favorite son candidate-Perry, Cain leads the pack......
Thats OK it’s Holloween and whistling past the graveyard is not only allowed, but expected from Perrywinkles.
LOLOLOLOLOL Trick or Treat! Perry, singlehandidly, is quickly achieving 2nd tier candidate status.....even in his own state, with it’s natural advantage.......Here’s a Snickers for ya sonny!
What a completely asinine statement.
In most states these people, rightfully have no say in the Republican Primary, which is by any definition a Party election....ie An intermural event.
Texas isn’t most states. You register to vote and on primary day all voters, democrats, republicans and independents, enter the voting locations and sign in to vote. They are asked, GOP or Democratic ballot. You declare your voting preference on the day of the primary at the polls, not when you register. So yes, independents/democrats can vote in the GOP primary should they choose.
Why do insurance companies settle instead of going to court? Put down the cup of virulence and try to think about that one.
I was kind of hoping those illegals would be eaten by alligators or Michael Moore.
less of a mess
