TEA PARTY invades Occupy DC Protest

What happens when the Tea Party invades the seemingly never-ending “Occupy” protest movement? Until now, this question has been left to the whims of the imagination. But over the weekend, Accuracy in Media, Let Freedom Ring and Young America’s Foundation joined forces to infiltrate ”Occupy D.C.”

As you can imagine, the results are quite hilarious, as the Tea Party counter-protesters state their love for capitalism, holding signs that read, “Taxed Enough Already” and “Unions Destroy Jobs,” among others. The patriotic young men, who are predictably met with anger, hand out Constitutions to the “Occupiers,” while defending capitalism (Meredith Jessup covered this on the blog as well).

Better be careful, the SEIU joined the OccupyChicago morons today, blocking streets, pedestrians, banging on plastic buckets and holding up their large SEIU signs.

I work right across the street from where these goons are every day, it's getting uglier and uglier out there. They're now harassing anyone who doesn't stop and listen to their crap. I'm expecting someone to start shooting any day now.

If we really want to break up the protests Christians need to get out there in force and preach The Gospel to these people. I did it during the protest at Madison against Walker putting stops on Unions. I steered conversation, as much as possible, away from politics and preached Jesus Christ and Him crucified to the crowds and to individuals.

Of all things Satan hates it is this. The very thing he has planned for destruction is turned around for good. If you do this you must believe in the power of The Word of God to change hearts. The LORD can change any heart but the people must hear The Gospel.

I had some astonishing conversations with people and at times I could discern The Holy Spirit falling. The LORD protected me from the crowds every inch of the way. It wasn't before too long that the leaders decided to stop the protests "to concentrate on other avenues for change".

These people are sitting ducks for The Gospel. After awhile they become really bored, even though they do not want to admit it. Their minds will take in anything other than the constant chant that their minds become immune to.

It is a perfect time to preach The Gospel. The Gospel goes out with power and the enemy breaks up. People get saved and once they are saved then The LORD begins to act in their lives to clean them up and give them truth. I had amazing and unforgettable experiences. It's win, win, win.

I’m flying to DC today for Georgetown University’s Parents’ Weekend. I hope to have time on Saturday to go by the Occupy DC encampment. I’ll take pictures and let you all know what I find.

Sounds like a small group of Tea Partiers who knew each other went there.

I am sure if the "occupiers" are still there on Nov. 11 when the Veteran Defenders of America rally is held, I will stop by.
